Oh I tried to play dumb saying that I just saw there was a race in Southwick, then asking my sister n law if she thought the boys would like to go to the race. I then learned about the football game. 

so how does this work if your in b qualifying? If youre time is fast enough you get in the mains?

Yes, but if not, you can still race your way in through the LCQ.

Qualifying Session 2 is more indicative of where they a slot in.

Top 36 time qualifiers (from all groups) go straight in to the motos, then the rest fight for the final 4 spots I believe in the LCQ.

I wish they would cover the consolation races! Seems like high entertainment value to me, while highlighting privateers and smaller teams. 

I've always been kind of indifferent about JCoop, but he has definitely surpassed my expectations so far on the 450 outdoors. Would be cool to see him take a win.

So the guy on the Suzuki in 250B group was the fastest but disqualified for sound. Benji Robinson ran 15 seconds slower the 2nd group it seems lol.

Didn't know Alvin Östlund was in the US now. Cool. So he slotted in about at the same position as he does in the MXGP series, right? About the same as Fast Freddie. Go Alvin!

Mr Shimoda, I had such high hopes for him, but not really working out or?

I'm not a Deegan fan, but I hope he puts on a big show. He is great racing entertainment and even not being a fan you can't deny his amazing speed (and fitness).

Östlund is normally a 12-16th place guy in MXGP, close to top 10 every now and then. Looks like it’s the same at AMA. Great ride by Kullas!
