We're going Washington Oregon Idaho Utah Wyoming Colorado Texas Louisiana Mississippi Alabama Florida. But not bound to that route ...
We REALLY wanted to go to Wildwood MX in Kentwood , Louisiana... But sadly it's closed till September.
What's the funnest track you.can think of?
Swan in Texas, Wildwood, Monster Mountain in Alabama are a few. Don't know about Mississippi, I believe golden pines is closed.
In Texas alone hit up Cycle Ranch, 3 Palms , Swan and Oak Hill.
Golden pines is a bad ass National caliber track. Sucks it closed.
Mx 191 in the Florida panhandle is good.
Another vote for monster mountain in Alabama. It’s nearly ruined local tracks for me with how fun it was.

I’m suggesting you take a different route, across 80 thru Iowa and find Oak Ridge. I haven’t ridden it, but, I’ve watched motos there and, I’m convinced that’s the baddest amateur Mx course on Planet Dirt.
Rumble at the ridge is in September and is always a great time!
Yeah it’s beautiful too with all the rolling hills. They had a pro am race June 9 I think. I planned on doing the race last winter. Then my back., neck, shoulder injections got all messed up. Chicago to atL load i24 Tn. Was real bad today rd construction sitting traffic for 50 mi then Atlanta was a nightmare. Safe travels pick up an atlas if you don’t hv one. And get off the interstates if you can instead of sitting in traffic. .
Check out rmx. They have a track in Preston Idaho that is awesome.
Don’t pass up SWAN and if you can hit Monster Mtn on the same trip, that would be a nice double dip.
KDub has been opening Farm14 to public every now and then so check that out as well. It’s a Kentwood/Wildwood on steroids.
If you want some nostalgia, Rio Bravo in Houston. Pretty tame track that’s still fun to ride. The layout is very similar to when the Nationals were run there in the 70’s.
Eh, no. Skip that place and come to Jordan River in SLC. There are three tracks, all of which are world's better than Crap Valley in Preston. Mountain West just south of SLC is good, too.
His 956 Facility in Paradise Texas. It's Masterpools training property and it's open to the public. The track is ran in a different configuration everyday
Utah has some awesome looking tracks, was always intrigued by the Flying Ironhorse ranch, looks so cool in the vids. As far as Texas goes, Swan is a must, 3palms is fun (but I have never been there in the summer), I also like Oak Hill.
The dirt at JR isn’t very good and they often only one track open/prepped in years past. I haven’t been there this year. OCA if you can find someone that will get you a guest pass, mountain west and mesquite are good options.
If you can make it to Leadville, Colorado to ride the track up there it's a crazy fun track that's not super gnarly or big, always in great shape, and weather is near guaranteed to be under 80 degrees with some of the best views from a moto track ever.
Another vote for Oak Ridge MX in Iowa.
Place is a dream..
Oak Hill just built a new national level track .. might be worth hitting up
For all the people suggesting Oak Ridge in Iowa I will just add that they won't be open again until the weekend of September 20th. Not sure how that aligns with the OP's schedule but I thought I'd mention that. Awesome track though if you can make it!
Pit Row
Fair points for sure. They recently said they would be opening all three tracks fully groomed. I think the dirt is good early in the day when fully prepared.
Anybody have a riding recommendation for northern MT? Cool track or off-road? We will be in Missoula tonight and then heading to Canada.
I second this. Great track and RV was out here last year ripping it up.
Sounds like great memories are going to be made. Awesome dad!!!!
What a blast! The soil and terrain variables alone.
Man, I wanna ride along.
My guess, that's probably what heaven looks like.
Why are you hating on Preston? It’s literally one of the best tracks on the west coast.
No tracks in Wyoming worth hitting, although there are some awesome sand dunes. If you go south through Utah and into Colorado, hit me up and I will show you around Grand Junction. It's all free and end less riding, singletrack, turn tracks, jump tracks, hill climbs, endless whoops and rocks if you're into that sort of thing. It's pretty hot this time of year, but catch it after rain and it's 11 on a scale of 10.
If you are going to Iowa might as well go one more state to east and check out Sunset Ridge in Walnut Illinois. Believe It's Sextons home track.
Sunshine MX Jasper, Florida right across the border from Georgia
Waldo MX Waldo, Florida
Boswick Creem MX Green Cove Springs, off the beaten path several miles of sand road to get there
If your up in Southern Ohio sometime, check out EastFork and Chillitown MX owned by APs father Scott Plessinger
This entire thread should be pinned & saved for the general community of riders. I want to ride at all of these places. Excellent list boys
