No. Didn't miss it. He did a great job of copying and paste with this information

What do you want him to do?

How, in your expert opinion, should ML be reporting on this?

Other than giving his opinion on what happened, or pointing out any claim he found to be proven untruthful. I don't see a lot that he could add.  He has said that he tried to talk to the track and they did not want to talk to him.  If ML was not there , getting statements from the people that were there and or involved is all he can do.

If the main thing that people care about is if Rich was the person behind the lawsuit , ML got to the bottom of it and got an on the record statement from Rich . Stating that he was responsible for the suing and why he felt it was justified .  Perhaps now that there is more info out there, LACR might also want to put out a statement. Or not.

We also have no idea if there is a more detailed report that ML or somebody else is working on right now.

It sucks all around , I hope I am never in the position Rich found himself in. A hurt kid, and even if he never admits it. He has to feel horrible if he really had no idea the berm dropped off like that , IF that would have stopped him from allowing his kid to ride. Maybe its just me, but I would feel like it was my fault for not walking the track and pointing out stuff like that.  I know that it has re enforced my feelings about always walking a new track before I ride it. And I often used to walk tracks at the end of the race day too so I could see lines I missed while riding.

If I am a track owner I d never let Rich or anyone who takes his side on a track again . Anyone who thinks what he did is OK should be blacklisted from all MX track s .

Which poses the question, is Rich or his kid still riding at tracks in Southern California?

I don't either, that's why I was curious about what more @RandomUserName would like to see.

I'd love for him to come back and answer but....I don't think he has an answer, I think he just wanted to make himself feel better by running his mouth about moto media.

It's a pretty much agreed on fact that you can ask anyone, anything as long as you present correctly.  And with the delicate nature of this particular issue, it's just a matter of sending the right man for the job.  And that's why ML should offer temporary affiliate media credentials to Magoofan and have him track down and ask Rich, what were you thinking?

It is much easier to say what to do different after somebody else has done something.  I don't think that Moto media is perfect, nobody or anything is. And yes there are things that could be done better. But I think that overall there are a lot of people putting out solid content.  And   @Randomusername  might have some good ideas on how to cover this story better.

To most people the only thing they care about is that Rich was behind the lawsuit ,and they made it clear . With many people posting that was all they needed to know.

I just hate that like the track workers that feel the hit of the law suit  by getting laid off off, hours cut or fired, the workers, shops and distributors that have been selling his goggles will be taking the hit before the owner's feel it.  The shops and distributors that have shelves filled with goggles. They are going to feel the squeeze before Rich.  I totally understand peoples reactions and I don't have a good answer for an alternative way of showing Rich that You are unhappy with what he did personally. It just makes it harder for me to get strongly behind anything.

RIP LACR😪(switching to Astars Goggles)

Better confirm that Astars Goggles aren't produced by EKS Brand anymore.

50 Vital Street Cred points to the first person to post a picture of a pile of burning Eks Brand goggles.

How many years went by before this came out?

How many media people chose NOT to inform you?

We only have Fox, Perris, Cahuilla, GH, Barona Oaks and Sunfair left. What a fucking disaster. Not being sarcastic either.

+ Cal City MX

Sandy Valley MX is technically in SoCal but is essentially a "Vegas track".

Guarantee ML knew, no one cares about US as long as we buy the shit they’re pushing. Dirt bikes used to be about freedom and individualism, not this corporate good ol boys club bullshit where if you’re not part of the clique then you don’t belong. The Owners of the “Moto Media” are literally perpetuating the collapse of our sport. They support this type of behavior and shelter the people who do it.

We constantly hear the industry talk about how to grow the sport, but if one of their own literally has a hand in shrinking the sport, it's crickets.

The whole thing leaves a bad taste in my mouth, and I cringe every time they are advertised during the Pulp show.

Easy fix, don't watch the Pulp show. I do not know much about advertising but if less people watch and listen, less revenue. I read that as more likely for Pulp to go away. Everyone has their own way to make a stand, this is mine.
