Now, do I literally think he was practicing that in the mirror? No, that was an exaggeration. But I do think he had that planned out to drop on the podium if he beat Chance in the next moto. I think he probably thought about it after Chance won a moto last week and moved into 2nd in points. Same with the cute Vialle move/fucking with him in SX, same with "I knew Kitchen would fade". Whoever is the biggest current threat gets a headline worthy quote on the podium.

I really thought we were going to see Sexton up there after Hangtown. Overall, he hasn’t cashed as much but his speed is not where it was on the Honda. This will be a brothers battle for the championship unless they get hurt.
