Not a fan of Jett’s dominance but seeing him watch Hymas get his first win was admirable. You can’t fake that. Many guys wouldn’t even bother to watch and would be in the rig. I’ve seen him show that respect to multiple riders. He’s just a kid who loves the sport.

And how about the emotion from Hymas. All I can say is wow. That feeling must have been incredible and you don’t see many of those in life.

To be fair,  the 450 guys are usually preparing for their race when the 250 guys are racing.   Last week was reversed.   Still very cool to see Jett rooting for his teammate.

That Hymas win felt different. I haven't followed the kid much, admittedly know very little about him and his path to where he is right now...but that raw emotion from the whole crew was such an awesome thing to see. Instant fan.

I don’t like seeing Jett be so dominant, but he is so damn likeable I can’t help but root for him.

It’s things like this that make me have zero problems watching the best rider in the world dominating races.

It’s hard to not wish a likeable person all the succés in the world.

To grapeape: Im doing fine today…

While kinda funny and hopefully prophetic, Jett really doesn't racer other racers he races the track.

As far as him coming to the fence to watch Chance, Jett has actually showed up to one of our FTR Hare Scramble races to support friends and hang out. Wasn't mobbed and was as nice as can be to everyone that asked for his time.

Make riding friends not training enemies fighting over who is the fastest with the biggest ego.

Jett seems like a moto fan and likes seeing his teammates do well which is cool Smile . I think most of these guys that we pass judgement on are good dudes and nothing like we Vitards seem to think they are.

Why does everyone feel the need to declare whether they are a fan of somebody when making an observation? Personally I am a fan of all these guys although I do root for some more than others. I don't love anyone dominating but I really appreciate the skill level of a guy like Jett who can achieve it.

Context is hard to get on the internet so i think it has been an evolution to use that to bring some context back in to what people are saying to help convey where they are coming from.

And if you are a fan you will be called a nut hugger etc if you are a fan of the ”wrong” rider…

Well yeah when you’re coming up to lap someone it helps to know how to get around them easiest

At the end of the day he seems like a genuinely good kid that loves moto like you said. it’s the rabid fans that cause the division (same with deegan’s camp).

Jett went out of the way to say hi to my 4 year old and give him a fist bump at the race. I’m sure many people have similar stories but a small gesture goes a long way.

But what fun would this place be without the rabid fans going at each other 😂

I think the only rider’s that are “wrong” around here are Jett and Deegan. I don’t see too many Vialle, Hymas, Sexton or AP7 fans starting fights lol

I don’t know much about Hymas, but after listening to him on pulp I think I’m a fan. He seems like a good kid. Congrats on the recent results! Killing it

Jett seems like a normal ausie/kiwi kid, super humble and down to earth, he just so happens to be the FMOTP…. Love to see it. He’s a credit to his parents, you can tell he’s been raised right. Wish him nothing but continued success. Guys like him are great for the sport.
