So it looks like the 2025 RM's still get no electric start and apparently only Bold New Graphics. How pathetic. Used to be a huge Suzuki fan but this is getting a bit ridiculous.

Those aren't bold new graphics. Unchanged since 2021.

I guess that Suzuki doesn't expect it to be in the "Vital" wheelhouse any longer.

Most of us are the latest greatest, fastest etc.

Be interesting to see the sales figures of that bike versus other brands 450's.

The R&D costs must be very solidly in the black, recouped category..so long as the sales are still ticking over.

I'd say 7500 (which is real close to what they are after rebate).

6000 is 300 less than a KLX300R

Cut that msrp price in half and I’d consider getting one. Yes, great bike for the majority of riders, but it’s still a hard buy when you can get superior bikes for the same or similar price.

It's lighter than the KX450 when equipped with the free PC pipe (same as Kx450 with the stock Suzuki pipe).

Really, wow.

Yep the KX has gained some lbs and a tamer powerband. Sounds like they are aiming for the Zook.

Yep. That is the issue.

If i could go to a Finnish Suzuki dealer and order a new unit for 5000-5500€ then it could be a good option for me who only rides around 20-30 hours per season. But i would never ever pay 7500-8500€ for one. The bike is worth under 5k the second i roll it out from the dealer with 0 hours on the hourmeter. 4k when it has 10 hours.

The best MX 450s I’ve raced/ridden in the last decade…

A ‘19 450SXF hand built by JR Boyd (BB4 influenced set-up) with WP Suspension, Team FMF pipe, engine & ECU, harness & map by Twisted, Ti goodies, BB4 launch link, VP T4...etc, etc, etc

A ‘20 KX450 SR (maybe it was a ‘21?) with KYB’s done by FC, PC pipe, Vortex by Twisted, VP Pro 6 HT

A 2018 RMZ 450 suspension by FC, Yoshimura Signature pipe, Rekluse Core-Torq clutch (not auto), White or Black ECU plug depending on alt/air, assorted ti and Raptor pegs, VP T4

Of those 3 bikes…the bike that was BY FAR the least expensive own and operate AND the most productive (won my class at DITD, earned Bears at Mammoth, etc)…?
The RMZ. Period.

Those aren't bold new graphics. Unchanged since 2021.

I'm honestly kind of bummed that it doesn't have BNG. The 2018-2020 were the best-looking stock bikes I've seen in years, and the 2021 was a giant step back. It felt like, not only are we not going to make the bike better, we are going to make it uglier.

BNG would be welcomed at this point

They are  including a set of aftermarket graphics with the bike anyway. So why  change graphics that will be covered up?  They have the deal that You get graphics, discount on plates that match with Your numbers, a Full PC Ti6 system . That is  for both the 250 and 450 according to the press release.  I don't know what these graphics will look like, if they changed them or if they are going to be the same as last year or not.  I apologize if You meant that they did not change the design on the aftermarket graphics they include and not the stock Suzuki graphics.  I have not seen photos of them so like I said, they could be totally different, or the same as last year.

I meant the stock graphics, I  think the Aftermarket graphics they provide are a step down from the OEM graphics, as the blues do not match

Hopefully throttle syndicate fixed that for 2025

***Edit, looks like 25 RM Army Graphics are different

Graphics are subjective though, I can't stand yellow, so fixed it.  Could be a 2018, could be a 2025, I wouldn't let graphics be the reason not to buy one if the price is right.

There won’t be anything new from Suzuki other than updating their mopeds in Thailand and India. MX and SX will most likely be gone in the next 2-5 years. Suzuki’s done.

You do know they are developing an electric MX bike? There's literally a thread in here with the actual patent pictures... I mean c'mon dude

Yeah I saw that. Maybe. No verified MX and SX bikes development. Either way, there won’t be a new RMZ. I seriously doubt they put any more effort into racing, electric or otherwise. Every year it’s the same argument 😏
