It's the same frame, but with the new plastic. If it's just a homemade plastic conversion, whoever made it should sell it as a kit. It's very clean looking.

Yeah I am looking forward to getting myself a 08or 09 yz125 to take over for my poor beaten 04yz125 by the end of this year. My plans will be to get an Athena 143 kit for it and have at it. the athena kit is poorly ported and it wont be as fast or torquey as the bike should be. i had an eric gorr 144 rm and it kicked as$

Hold on guys, It's a Van de Laar Yamaha.


Van de Laar is a Dutch tuner, who makes a mean 144.


They modded the gas tank and airbox, but underneath, it's still a 2010 YZ.


Maybe it will be available in some time.

I doubt it's a homemade conversion look at the gas tank.....all YZF's are not twin spar or "bi-lateral" frames so the tank would not work......also it would be A LOT of work just to get the tank made in order to fit the rest of the plastics....I hope Yamaha does release a new updated line of smokers they would sell the sh!t out of them without a doubt. Also if you poke around there is a link to a yz250 in a 2010 YZ250f frame lookin sweeeeeeeeeeeeet!!!
