She actually started in Snocross and was pretty darn good too. I enjoyed listening to her trackside analysis in that sport.

I think she’ll be alright. Big shoes to fill…

Has there ever been a race where you girls didn't complain about the broadcast?

JT says it too. Gets annoying when they can’t pronounce their own sport properly.

It’s hilarious that people in here get so riled up about others criticizing the broadcast. The fact is, it’s not great. MX has been worlds better than SX so far, I will give them credit where it is due. I’ve noticed James contracted the Ricky explanation disease, “the reason I say that is…” To me it’s still just as annoying when he does it. I thought Katie absolutely sucked, but her voice isn’t as annoying as Wil’s. But we only have our sport to compare to because other Motorsports actually take broadcast quality as seriously as they should. Moto just doesn’t, and probably never will. 

I'm a big NBA fan as well. It blows me away how Doris Burke is on ESPN or there inside the NBA is ran by 2 girls. I'm sorry but they have no spot in men's professional sports. Watching this girl in the 1st moto has no insight whatsoever about this sport in general.

She was awful, no way around that. Still better than no coverage, but holy fuck....like AV club in HS level "reporting"

I think this is more about sexism than anything. Every female reporter you guys bitch about. I'm sure you're not perfect in your job either. Nobody is. James miss pronounces words, weege mixes up riders for example mixing jett and chase up in moto 2, did it in sx too. It's okay, you don't have to get your panties wadded up over it. 

No it just adds nothing to the broadcast that couldnt already be filled by JT.
I hate JT’s muscles because they make me feel insignificant, but i can still appreciate the job he does. So shove your misogynistic claiming hot take up your loose ass….haha.

Is it bitching or constructive criticism, I can’t tell. It’s 2024 can’t be unhappy , suppose to take the burger you order and eat it even if it’s wrong.  Don’t want to hurt any feelings.

I thought she did fine, too. I got a text from my brother when he was watching the replay talking about how bad she was, but I didn’t see it. At no point when she was talking did I wish she would shut up or at least talk about what was happening on the screen like I do with Will in SX. 

Get these women out of the sport!  They've never raced and add nothing of value.  FFS. 

My issue — and I will die on this hill — is that their isn’t an actual commentator… the whole show feels like a big podcast talking about the race while no one is there to re focus on the action on the track as it happens… 

I think for the sport to grow and engage new people and spouses with not much interest in the sport, the commentary team needs to commentate, to make the specific action happening on the track as exciting in the moment as it is, but instead it’s just chatter and theories and dead air and conversations and nothing at all that would make a new or potential fan excited and jump up and down… 

the racing is amazing, the sport is amazing but to me the weird philosophy MX seems to have about, what a commentary team does, is letting the sport down.

all the good motocross commentators, I’m including Ralph and Diffey here, were/are professional commentators and who actually call the on track action… 

If I wanted a podcast to play over the racing I would have listened to the old Gypsy tales stream… I have no idea why more people don’t shit on this podcasting commentary style…??? It’s weird.

Y'all remember she won us over within the first few rounds of Supercross with her enthusiasm, accuracy in reporting and finding relevant information.

People rarely "bitched"  (funny choice of words, while accusing of sexism) about Erin Bates, Jamie Little, or [Garth Mode On] Jenny Taft [Off].  Plus, I think the "bitching" about RC exceeds all the "bitching" about the women put together.

I went riding yesterday and got home right about the end of 450 moto1. Took me 3 devices before I found my wife's laptop would rewind to the beginning and fast forward after each checkered flag to the next gate drop to catch up in case the broadcast ended and shud down.

Never even noticed this gal you guys are complaining about but there was some damn good racing!
