There hasn't been a ton of talk about Eli going pro at Hangtown. How do you guys think he'll do?
I think he is going to run up front right away...he has a champions pedigree, he knows how to train, he has been successful his whole career and as of late he has been doing a lot of WORCS racing and running with some guys that have proven top 5 national speed (Dietrich, Brown etc.)...seems like a pretty good recipe for success to me!
I was a big fan of his dad back in the day, I hope Eli can follow in his championship footsteps!

Man, Geico Powersports Honda has probably a better team than Pro Circuit this year:
Metcalfe on 450
Canard, Barcia, Wharton and Tomac on 250!!
Strong team for sure.

the kid is smooth as butter and picks apart a track like no other amateur, his style is alot like one of the GP riders.. top 10 both motos, maybe a top 5.
Let's not forget, this is a stacked class with no returning champ. Everyone has there eye on the prize.
He is not wild or crazy like barcia, rides more calculated like CP. Cant wait for outdoors!
Canard, Baggett, Wilson, Barcia, Stroupe, Weimer, to name a few. Getting into the top 5 isn't going to be easy.
Not saying he won't, but it looks like a stacked field to me.
