Sorry for a little hijack but if the broadcast wants to step up it's filler credit...give Broc Glover a spot. That dude knows amazing stuff about each track. History, stats, crazy stuff...and the history of the surrounding area. I ain't kiddin'...that dude is the shit and he knows how to make you interested.
An interview with Broc and DC by Weege would be badass.
Please 86 weege from the broadcast! He's done his time and we need new blood!!
I hope it’s bubba!!!
I'd be down with James all summer. At the same time I'd be surprised if he wants to travel to every race

"Did you say your name was Jim or Gem?
Well, huh, it's kinda both. The teacher's use to always say, "Here take this one. He's a gem."
I'd like to see more JS7 but being himself. He's a very different person on his podcast vs. on air commentary. Maybe more time in the booth would cure that or is he "coached" by NBC?
I really like it when he gets into the details of explaining why he says the bike looks soft or there's too much rebound in the shock, etc... Helps us normal folk know what to look for.
Neck Burn!
Pre-season press conference just said the broadcast team will consist of:
Weege, RC, James Stewart.
JT$, Will Christien, Katie Osborne.
^^^ Rats. But "I seen that coming a mile away"
Out of that list they got weege and jt correct, maybe Katie, the rest need to be canned. Weege and jt in the booth with Katie for the pit side stuff.
Wedge/stew//rv/and drunk jumpin Jake wiemer on color.
Good god can you imagine. And we complain about Will going on too long, at-least she can get a sentence out.
The guest announcers were great, especially Broc Glover. Hope they revisit that experiment.
James is amazing sorry you can’t see that
Yeah no you’re essatly right.
Hopefully someone replaces Weege....
While it sucks that RC and Will Christian are involved, hopefully they'll be contained to just the NBC live races.
You wanna reevaluate this shit take or are you going to double down on it? James was fantastic today
I’m glad his style makes you essited and is essatly what you’re looking for in the friggerator.
he was significantly better than rc, and of the list I said should be canned he’s the least egregious offender, I still think Jt and weege would be better. They have good speaking skills, good vocabulary, treat it professionally, know the riders and the sport intricately.
To me James gets carried away with whatever jokes he tries to make, his homeschooled Florida education (much like Ricky’s) shows through constantly,
but his insight when he’s trying is good for sure and massively better than rc.
but if rc is the measuring stick, we are fucked.
Pit Row
I am not trying to set up a argument or anything but who does the broadcast team work for? are they employed by a network or by MX sports, and who decides who will be the broadcast team ?
I’m normally team “fire Bondo”, but this weekends broadcast was excellent. Weege was calling shots amping up the racing. James really feeling comfortable and JT growing more and more with his style of questioning. Didn’t feel like we were missing any battles or shots, didn’t find myself yelling at the TV “show the damn battle!”. Good job team.
Big fans of Wedge, James & JT but they did miss the only interesting potential battle at the en of 450 Moto 1, when Ferrandis was quickly coming back on Plessinger for 3rd place. So quickly that eventually DF14 heavily crashed and lost 3 positions. Nobody in the booth or trackside saw the crash that Dylan qualified as "season-ending-type" crash, not mentioned it when Sexton showed up in 4th, instead of Dylan. Also, when the AMA representative came and talked about Vialle's penalty in Moto 1, none of them asked the obvious, not-so-tough question "what about Deegan" ?! Which could have led to some interesting debate. One could also mention the fact that they did not emphasise the importance of Moto 1 good performers (like Cooper or Plessinger) crashing at the start of moto 2 and while they talked a bunch about the overall during the 250 Moto 2, they totally ignored that factor in 450 Moto 2. All in all, love these guys but definitely not their best day, IMHO.
Not having RC and Will made the broadcast perfectly acceptable.
It was an enjoyable afternoon watching motocross, without the usual Supercross cringe.
Yesterday highlights what the main problems are on the supercross coverage. But I'm sure it will not change.
