Pretty sad look for the MXGP when the fast French riders skip there own home GP.. 

I was hoping to eventually find Desprey and Aranda in the 450 starting list... But thats not the case.

Frenchman Tom Guyon will also make the trip to the US to race Southwick and RedBud in the 250 class. 

He's currently second in the French Elite Championship, 26 points back of Mathys Boisrame.

Mathis Valin sits third in the championship, 3 points back from Guyon.  

Agree. I was there in 2022 and it was awesome.

I was just thinking about a random fact. After winning all the championship possible in the US (MX250, 250 West, 250 East, 450SX and 450MX), Jett Lawrence could still come to Europe and try to compete in MX2 because he is young enough. It's crazy after all he has done he could be an MX2 racer...

I'm pretty sure Prado couldn't, as you are only allowed to defend the MX2 title the once - 2 MX2 titles are what that p**k Luongo limits  MX2 riders to, then they are Out.

It's just as p**s poor  as the '23 and You're Out' rule.

Thanks for pointing that out. Alfie is a legend in South Africa. His oldest son (Bradley) is a fast MX rider but has turned his attention to Enduros and the Dakar. 

Really awesome seeing Trey dipping his toe in some European MX. The kid will reach the elite in due course.

What happened to the 125 race at 13:55? 

I think they're behind schedule. MXGP are out on timed practice at the moment so I guess the 125 race will be after them.

MXGP TV has the 125 race scheduled as the last race of the day now, guessing because of the weather?

Separately it looks like Febvre might be banged up after casing the triple in timed practice. 

I know this is not a popular opinion, but this track is easily the worst on the circuit in my opinion. It's just stupidly hard to pass on

Holy hell…

Bonacorsi and Gifting's prang on the start straight was brutal, and Tiga, Herlings and Jonass' tangle out of the first turn caused some problems for them. PJ out after a lap (or two?) with bike damage.

Despite the weather, the track raced well. People Can pass.

Febvre got the win, despite a damaged thumb, and didn't sound confident that it will hold up tomorrow. Tiga came through well into 2nd, Seewer in 3rd. Prado 4th(?).

'Large' of the twins stayed upright to win - good on him. 'Little' (Sacha) balled up into the first turn. Everts smoothly went 2nd.

125s up now.

Not sure - I may have had 2nd wrong, as I'm looking past my bikes whilst setting up a job on my Mill - it's a typical Saturday Night / Sunday Morning for me.

I thought it was a really good ride from bonacorsi to come back to 14th. The track actually shaped up pretty well. Tomorrow could be really nice

How he ended up there with so much speed? Malin said they made changes to track after this accident?
