Anderson has pulled multiple dick moves on Hunter this season, I might have missed it, but this is the first dick move Hunter has pulled on Anderson.
Penalties seem appropriate for both. Anderson really had no need to run Hunter as high as he did and put him down. Hunter shouldn't have retaliated in the way that he did.

Idk who’s harder, this forum for Hunter or the AMA for Jason. People defending Hunter would be in here flaming Vince for weeks if that was him in that situation. I think it’s sad to see so many people mad at Jason for that pass. SX fan hood has certainly changed over the last 10-15 years.
Kawasaki and more specifically, Bruce Sterjnstrom are not happy with this stuff at all. They want to be in the highlights for winning races, not penalties.

Ando does make some bonehead moves, but the pass on Hunter was pretty clean. Enough contact on the boot to destabilize him, but it isn't like he smashed him off the track.
Saying the pass on AC9 was bad is silly too. Jason took the line and AC ran out of track.

Man looking at that last photo Hunter was damn lucky his knee didn't get messed up. Thats a rough angle to crash at.

If you're going to call that a dirty pass, then we have a fundamental disagreement on how racing should be done.
Hunter came through that turn unbalanced, unwilling to give up the line Jason took from him, and Jason got the better of him.
So Jason never actually made heavy contact with the bike and was turning down. If you are looking for a take-out you drive through the rider and his bike until they are going down.
Very aggressive pass just as was Hunter's attempt when he came from the outside to the inside on Jason a few weeks back.
Anderson didn't need to make heavy contact, contact was precise, colliding with Hunter's left hand and handle bar, rotating the handlebar, you have to respect Anderson's skill!
