I'm in the quad city area and yeah, there are so many tracks withing a short distance. I have about five within an hour. Two of them within 15 minutes.

Pumped to see that big of a turnout at Lincoln Trail. I use to race down south quite a bit. I really enjoyed racing Southfork in Taylorville. They had an awesome setup in the pits.

You guys know anything about the Sunset Ridge track in Wallnut? The have a regional qualifier there in June. Thanks

Lincoln trail is a gold mine. The facility is set up and run well. The competition is top notch.  Expect to see several mid west states represented on the Lorettas lists moving forward.

Not sure about last year but I think two years he spent some time there between Midwest outdoor rounds as well

I'm at Sunset Ridge on most weekends. Top caliber track, great family that runs the track, and a lot of parking/viewing. I like how they change certain parts of the track often.

We sold my dad’s farm to pay for his nursing home stay. But his old neighbors boy won 125 bc both motos but never went to ll.  Sunset has a big racer X vet race may 18 practice race 19th. I thought of going but making nothing out here. Still waiting for a delivery #, ld pu in an alley in Chicago & paid nothing to Charleston.  I bought a 04 125 from the Ottawa area. Starving no food in sC. At a ts.

I agree my dad’s old neighbors boy who won both regional motos at sr . Doesn’t win both motos in Wi. Or Millville. He is a top 3 ripper there. The Midwest is stacked with fast 85,125 and vet riders.

There’s a lot of yt vids on ssr including Chase on a super mini beating a 450 vet a rider but not 1 of the fast vet guys. Ltm has an older pro am race a Wi. Rider on a yz250f went down in the 1st corner & won , on a full gate. That’s the meanest 250f I ever heard. Not Cody Cam some other guy. Super fast tho ride the track 1/2 like him & you,ll win.

I've probably spun close to a million laps at South Fork.
