I don't get it. It's not like they would postpone or cancel this race if it starts raining and doesn't stop. They're still gonna end up racing. So just run it. 

I've been at Thundervalley a few times when those storms roll off the mountains.  Nowhere to evacuate there.

there is a 0% chance this race gets postponed tonight, with or without it. this is pointless.

yeah right! they have to break up the monotony of that silly, boring race with super interesting, informative fluff pieces and interviews! its what the fans crave

The liability is just too huge.  Bad enough if a rider got struck but if little Johnny in the stands got his noggin smoked...

Well. This sucks.

It was an hour and half wait last year. And then we got this. 
 

A rider just got struck on track recently at an amateur race. No way they run it, especially for the spectators safety on metal bleachers. 

I've seen a dozen posts this week from people on social media saying get the race back at Sam Boyd stadium. The one that closed in 2020? That Sam Boyd Stadium? I wasn't sure if that's where he was going with his comment

It's literally postponed right now, due to lightning in the area. I don't understand what is difficult to grasp about that.
