Am I the only one that thinks most bikes just look better not being all one colour?
Kawi, Honda and Suzuki all look better with blue, IMO

In 2022 (I think?) when most manufacturers moved to one color plastic/seat I was initially against it and thought it made the bikes look bland, but it grew on me quickly, now a 2021 Honda looks much older than a 2022 Honda does.
Seats specifically, I prefer solid black, anything else makes graphics a chore unless you want to replace the seat cover as well.
I like blue seats and I cannot lie...
The TLD Honda always looked good with the blue seat
I just dropped a blue Guts Racing with tall foam seat on my Honda. Swapped the factory seat for guts on my Beta as soon as I got it. I like the blue seats and blue is not one of my favorite colors but looks good on seats and radiator hoses.

Back in 1983, when everyone started running blue seats, I thought there was no tricker part in the universe. You could have offered me a full-mod 2024 YZ85 sent back though time and if it had a black seat I'd decline to take it.
I still run an all-blue seat cover on my YZ. Black is hotter and doesn't look as good.
Pretty much anybody who was around the sport in the 80s and early 90s will 100% agree with you.
When Honda released those 83 CRs with the blue safety seats they made the 82's look like relics. Gosh, they were sweet.
Not only did they look good, but there was something about the feel of the seat foam and cover that made me think I was on a works bike.
blue seats are ugly AF
How old are you?
I respect your opinion, just wonder how many of us who like them have a major predisposition to liking blue seats due to nostalgia / being old like village idiot and Falcon mentioned 😂
Taste is timeless... even bad taste!
That's a good point, for someone who couldn't physically ride one and wouldn't know what to do with one, I spend a bit of time looking at pics or videos of late 80's / early 90's sports bikes like VFR 400's/750's 😂
And obviously any Evo>Ultra Evo motocross bikes.
TLD Honda's were the only bikes that looked good with a blue seat. Even Yamaha's need a black seat, to me.
Speaking of VFRs, when Honda released the 86 VFR750F I sold my 85 600 Ninja (red/white/blue) to get one.
It had its quirks (clunky shifting, crappy suspension, so-so handling, short-lived reg/rectifier, hot air from right side NACA duct would scald your calf) but it's still one of the most beautiful bikes I've ever seen. Combine that with the cam gear whine and the exhaust note with the F1R slip-ons installed (good lord, what a sound) and I've never had another street bike that evoked the passion that one did.
Unforgettable bike.
Blue seats on a Kawi are the shit.....
And the gold rims are the cherry on top.
Maybe it's just me, but Beta nailed it with their shade of blue.
That bright "electric" blue has always looked good against the Honda reds, Kawasaki green and the bright RM yellow. Just timeless.
I'm with OP..... blue is badass on Honda, Suzuki,kawi....and Husky
Pit Row
Blue even works on a KTM if you get the rest of the combination right.
And yes, I did get my blue seat fetish from racing in the 80’s……
50, I was there for alot of blue seats and also silver rims, and gold rims. not a fan of all the old school stuff at all. I love the new look on bikes, black rims, black seats, carbon exhaust. The new bikes/styles look amazing!! no reliving the past for me
So you're a communist, then?
basic D.E.W. mitigation ; )
Blue has looked good on the KTMs for a long time -
Sure looks different in black!
That bike had an amazing motor. It was so much fun to ride and the handling was sharp, too. The most exciting 250 I ever had, one bike I wish I would have kept.
"....and Husky".
Especially those 1984 Milk Trucks -
I loved the Adidas collab 🤟🏼
Yes to blue seats.
Bigger yes to the trend of one color-way on every bike. I was never a fan. Rock some colors. Keep it loose & fun.
