Jett is known for only winning by a few seconds, just enough to get the win, no more. Today on an absolutely brutal track he puts up 9 seconds on tomac in second and 15 on webb in 3rd. It looks like after the rough few weeks hes had which dwindled down his lead and had him tied with webb that he wanted to send a message with this win that hes the guy still and when he needs to he can lay the smackdown. I think the message was loud n clear.
He brought the Aussie tea bag out today for Webb.
Where's the weekly ILoveMoto thread commenting on Jett? Usually it's out by now...
That was a spankin'.
Dat wuz a hwoopin

Got lucky 3 times in the main. First when Kenny went out so he didn’t have to get around him, when he pulled out that case in the rhythm section and Eli getting held up by the lappers. But good for him finally winning a race again…
Great rides by both Jett and Eli. Especially on that track it was truly amazing to see.
If only that lapper didn't go down man. I just want those two to battle, not one that gets interrupted by a lapper.
Whatever helps you feel better. Jett pulled 8 seconds on Tomac after being 4 seconds back. He was winning regardless.
Luck would have been Roczen staying in the race and putting a bigger points gap on Webb.
McAdoo does the tea bagging around here.
I've learned to stay away from the rabid fans of Jett and Deegan. Tough to not enjoy watching their talent. Their fans keep me away. Last time you popped out you had a 21 point lead. Both classes look to be coming down to the wire after tonight's carnage. When Bob Hannah tells you he hated racing at the end of his career you know it's brutal.
HTF did he save that?
I set the speed to 25%. That combination of hips fwd, then immediately arse way back for the save. Of course I've committed that to muscle memory for my next Oh shite Huck moment.
we’ll take our ass whopping to the chin & move onto next week , down by 5 wid 3 races to go 🤔 still a bad start away from regaining the pts lead but on the objective side its goona come down to who wants it more , be interesting to see who digs deeper in they bag the next 3 races 👀
This mentality is pretty silly. You don’t like someone over people who do like them? Which is a variable that Jett has no control over? That’s…illogical
Sorry but that's my choice. Besides they're relatively new to an old dog like me so I've already got my favorites. I'll never like anyone like I did in the '70s and '80s but I still still try to keep up.
I like Eli because one of my sons lives in Colorado. I like Coop for his shenanigans. I like Kenny for his ability to overcome injuries. Chase because he reminds me of Bailey on and off the bike. Kitchen, RJ, and Forkner in the 250's. These are my favorites but don't dislike any of them.
The Vitard Webbites (you know who you are) getting together to contemplate the fact Jett just smashed their boy by 15 seconds.
There’s not a finite number of people you’re allowed to enjoy watching race and win. “I’ve already got my favorites” ?!?! There’s no room to just moderately like anyone else? Not everybody has to be your favorite lol
I basically like them all but my competitive nature forces me to pick some favorites to pull for to make it exciting.
Jett was due, he's the fastest guy all he needed was a good start. Honda seems to struggle off the start on slippery conditions, wet or dry. If Jett has traction he's pretty much gone. It's comical all the Jett haters think he's buckling under pressure. He's just had some bad luck and crappy starts. Winning a perfect season has to be a ton of pressure! Winning A1 has to be a ton of pressure. Winning supermx whatever tf has to be a lot of pressure. I think the kid does fine with pressure, just needs to minimize his mistakes and learn how to start on slippery surfaces. At least the racing has been great and not a runaway!
Pit Row
Eli had over half the race left to catch up. He didn't.
Unfortunately for all of us, we are about to be in an extremely boring era. Nobody remotely close to him. He will make big strides forward next year and again the year after that. Nobody will be close. He’s the perfect age. Few years older and these older guys would have had a few years with him. Few years younger and someone else may come up battling with him. As it is, this is his era and he will make some serious runs at some major records.
He ate in 8 seconds through traffic on Webb last weekend, now when they were side by side the first lap Webb lost 15 seconds.
This is the speed advantage Jett has had the whole season over Webb so can we please stop pretend that Webb has anything for Jett in race speed?.
Tonight the fans got what they wanted. Eli, Ken, Jett and Webb up in front the first lap and how did it end?.
And we all know that Ken would not have been a factor the whole moto. He had started to loose tow of Eli and Jett had caught up to him. Had he not blew his shock he would probably have faded and Webb would have moved him out of his way with 1-2 laps to go as we have seen so many times before.
Are you all there mate?
Doing as well in moto related as you’ve been in non moto. At least you’re consistent 🙄
Really dude… Lapper or not Jett would have went right around Tomac with zero fight
This 1000%
Starting to think you and magoober are the same person.
Stop thinking so much...
What was the message? Moto donuts on sale. Sprinkled with sparkling roost. 2for1 if driving Honda.
Why is it every time Jett wins he is sending a message and when somebody else wins, they are just lucky?
I think Eli’s smile on the podium said it all. He rode incredible, is super satisfied with his ride. There is just not much you can do about the 18 on a night like that. Those two stood out like the alphas they are on that track. Contrasting to Eli losing at Daytona and being pissed and fixated on being too late to change rhythm (winner’s mentality).
Tonight he set the standard on that track, and just straight up got beat by some who was just that little bit better. If he feels the yellows in the sand lost the race for him, I don’t think he’d be that happy. Was cool to see Jett see what they were doing, take his time and get to work. That double, triple before the whoops was next nevel, first laps were phenomenal.
