How often yall change your oil?

On my 2018 YZ 250F I change oil and oil filter every 3-5 hours. Air filter every ride because with it being up front it gets super dirty real quick! Now on my 2011 YZ 250 I change the trans oil about every 7-10 hours 

Every 5000 tire rotations

Every XC Race, roughly 2.5 hours.

Modified 250f every 2-3 hours

450f 4-5 hours

2-stroke 125 trans fluid 2-3 hours

2-stroke 250 trans fluid (I don't abuse clutch) 4-5 hours

7-10 hours on my bikes for the last 25 years. I use to change my son’s race bikes every 4-6 hours, but I had a lot of money in the motors. 
 

Consult your owners manual. 

10 hrs per OEM schedule running the recommended oil. I know a ton of people that will do the 3-5 but I personally feel it’s overkill with quality synthetics these days. To each their own.

Since the switch to 4 strokes, I have always changed my oil every 10 hours and my filter every 20.  I’ve been racing for over 30 years now and the only engine failure I have ever suffered was a rod failure that had nothing to do with oil.  I buy the highest quality OEM synthetic oil available.  I’ve always owned 450s.

Every 8-10 hrs use Motul or Motorex and stainless filter so the oil always gets changed on time instead of waiting or looking for stock filters. Tore down my '17 XCF250 for a top end recently at 175 hrs engine looked absolutely perfect inside and piston was still in spec although replaced of course. 

With Rotella T4, whenever I remember to do it!

I change mine after every ride (either a race or practice weekend). So probably between 1-2 hours max. Always Rotella …

Oil at 5, oil filter at 10. Rotella oil, tusk oil filters, DT1 air filters, Bel Ray filter oil. Several Kx450's. Moto

Since you showed up here I have a Q for you.

In a 2-stroke I know it's always said not to use oil with friction modifiers but what is your opinion on potential clutch life if a ULV ATF is used with friction modifiers? would changing is every ride make a difference or once soaked into the plates the clutch life is limited?

I'm still looking for the filter on the 89 KX 5spot.... So, I have never changed it. 

ATF can be tricky ULV or regular just because they are typically designed with very specific friction characteristics. Could be ok for the clutch, might not be. It depends on the ATF type, but I don't know which types are generally good vs which aren't. Since they aren't meant specifically for those clutches, you just don't know a lot of the time.

The ULV characteristic, in general, would not give me much confidence because it isn't just the clutch you're lubricating. I like a bit of a thicker oil to maintain film strength on the harder hitting contact points.

With regard to soaking into the fibers, I wouldn't worry too much about it. If you use one product and you're getting slippage, doing a few changes/flushes with good stuff should recover performance. Starting with fresh plates certainly avoids any doubt, but I wouldn't expect it to avoid getting diluted or rinsed out by fresh material.

That all being said, if it works, it works, and if you're satisfied with it, that's all that matters.

a gallon of T4 should last 3 years if you're riding regularly

In my 04 Yz, when it gets black and the level is down.  But I'm lazy and add oil a couple times.  Not sure if it burns it off or pushes it out the breather.  If I use the clutch a lot it will get black faster so that's not the best indicator.  I'd say 10-15 hours.

Jeez when I was heavy into racing I swear I changed the oil once every other week and always right before a big race. 3 days a week riding about 1.5 hrs of riding at a time.. I thought I changed my oil too often after reading some of the comments in here.
