It’s interesting, to say the least. He rides at “that” level even after alllllllll this time off. I see a bit of the old 250-Blake on turn entry and smashing the exit. But…he’s got a 9-5 gig that’s worth more than a lot of rider’s contracts in the long run (not kidding…the family biz is worth some $).

So…we’ll keep our fingers crossed. Laughing

Just posted.  Kinda curious if he decides to line up.  Doesn’t look like he’s just going out to ride around.

Admin Update: We have an official statement from the Rockstay Husky team on the matter, read it here: https://www.vitalmx.com/news/news/rockstar-energy-husqvarna-team-manage…

Any links to rockstar husky? Be super rad if he does a couple rounds

probably not, he's on an all stock bike.

My take is, he's a mini dad now, so being at the races probably gave him the itch to rip. But I'm not going to read into it that he has the itch to get back to the grind. Sometimes a retired pro riding is just a retired pro riding.

Pretty confident he’s racing the nationals. Not sure if it’s Craig’s or Mookie’s spot.

Not a chance

Awesome seeing him ride again either way, they may get a little rusty or lack a little bike fitness, but these guys never lose it do they

According to the article in this thread, nobody will know the story due to legal reasons.  Maybe there’s an NDA that kept him from giving enough information to make a statement

I think it said a whole lot. Clearly CC is considering hanging up his boots.

We knew that already didn’t we? I don’t think he makes a come back and I hope he doesn’t. Loved watching him ride, his dusting of tomac at thunder valley was one of the best rides you’ll see. No reason to come back to fight for 10-20th place.

I was skeptical of the "he's racing the nationals" talk but if uncledaddy69 says it's likely to happen then it's likely to happen.

That being said, in both of their primes Baggett was about the only guy in America who could run Eli down.

He was a bad dude on a motor scooter.

In his prime 1 or 2 times he could run Eli down.. yep accurate assessment.

While he never won a 450 title, he still held the red plate for awhile. That's rarified air.

Wonder how a stock 2024 Husky compared to his last Butler Bros Race Bike from 2020?

For me, the most important part is to see that his little kid rides. That means that Blake doesn't disgust this sport after what happened, and who knows maybe he wants to race a few nationals with his kiddo in attendance. Or maybe he tests the factory edition and the factory bike to see if they're making the bike better or worse with the factory upgrades.

1. He has a kid that rides so he most likely owns a bike or 4 that he rides.
2. He knows if he goes to a local track there will be talk since he's been on the low.
3. Fox rep there with gear kit

4. CC's wrench setting up bike

5. Enzo suspension

6. New Husky 450

yup, sounds just like he has an itch to ride one Sunday.  Pretty sure there's more to it. Whatever the case hope he's getting a plan together. Always fun watching him ride!

So Husky is looking to replace CC with a guy who hasn't raced in 4yrs?

I love threads like this and the inside info some people act like they have on the topic. It would be cool to see Blake line back up and maybe he was helping with testing or who knows might line up again. Cool if he does cool if he was just helping out. Always nice to see when former champions decide to ride in public and remind us again what made them great.

Pretty cool to see his kid on same bike now. Maybe not as much bad blood there as Vital lets on, doubt he would run same graphics if there were issues.

If he was to come back I only see 6 guys who are definitely beating him.  I see him as a 5th-10th place guy.  He isn't getting beat by 10 privateers.

Who is on the sideline and healthy that is faster? I do think bumping up RJ is a better solution. The guy cutting the checks may not feel the same way.

Jett, sexton, ap, hunter, j coop, Webb, Anderson, barcia, ferrandis, Eli and Kenny at select rounds. He’d be lucky to get 10th.

I have to agree. Sounds more like an open invitation to me. No way he gets all that support to go riding for the day. If RV shows up to Pala to "ride" does Yamaha meet him there with bikes, mechanics and a fresh set of gear? No

I bet Brackett wouldn't be any worse in the standings than Craig or Stewart.

Enzo…? Did ya see the stock WP stuff on that bike and did ya notice the WP tech (JR Boyd) that was present…?

Anyhoo…he was on the stock Husky “10mm lower” stuff.

The guy told us he said "Hey Blake, do you want to ride our bike?". He made sure had proper support.
