Guys--especially you in the SoCal area . A friend of mine was racing at Glen Helen this past Sunday and stopped at a hotel on his way home to Arizona. His trailer was broken into and a newer KTM was stolen along with his IRREPLACABLE 1975 CH Industries Honda CR125. I built this CH bike a few years back and it eventually went to a great home. Unfortunately , some dregs of society needed their next "fix" and decided that this action is easier than working for a living. The CH bike has some really trick pieces ( first Gen DG head, modded Cliff Hughes frame, Marzocchi front end, cone pipe, Noleen shocks, custom alloy airbox , DG alloy arm, custom billet front engine mounts, etc. That bike will be easily recognizable as its virtually a one-off build. The local PD has some great video footage of the dirt bags and their getaway truck, and hopefully can track them down before that bike gets destroyed. I'm posting the owners flyer he has just printed up ---keep an eye out and any help will be appreciated !!!!! Second pic is the way it looked when he purchased it, First pic is what the bike looked like when it was stolen it. It now has yellow number plate backgrounds with 516 on them. (probably already removed)

That sucks hopefully they are recovered.
How'd they get in?
Everyone stop using master locks to secure your stuff. Tons of videos online now on how to break one within seconds.
Get some air tags and it's time to consider alarms on your trailer as well. Maybe even cameras.
I saw a video that says you need at least a 14mm shaft to stop them from being able to cut through. Like the kryptonite phugetaboutit lock.
For anyone reading this, there is no 100% safe place to at a hotel or motel with an enclosed. You may come back in the morning and still have the bikes, you may not. Only safe bet is to put them in the room with you, this can be done at many motels.
Sickening. I’ve been a victim myself and it’s a terrible feeling. I think we were a little too quick on judging middle eastern theft punishment
Can't steal anything with no hands. Works for me.

The Elsinore is beautiful! I hope you get them both back.
I found the 1975 CR 125. Call or text me for more details. 714-209-5410
These pics are screen shots of the ad…. Let’s get these MFers!!!!
Looks like they where scalping parts for ebay and dinked it up.
Airtags are a must nowadays.
Preventing breaking in of trailers is next to impossible. I'd sleep in the trailer with a loaded Glock..that's the only way.
I hope the bikes are recovered..
I’m curious, not judging, but were there any stickers or markings on the trailer?
I saw an enclosed trailer on the interstate that had a sticker about radioactive material inside. Something like that might be a good idea.
Id put nothing about bikes or racing on the trailer.
Also, it should be legal to shoot thieves on sight.
I hate a thief. Ain’t nothing safe anymore. My wife wants me to get an enclosed trailer. She’s afraid I’m going to get jacked with my Beta and my Honda on my open trailer driving through Houston to get from League City Houston to ride at 3 Palms in Conroe. I won’t even stop to pee. Take the toll roads as much as I can.
I used to put Sierra Club and Audobon Society stickers on my truck. Saved me from theft as well as the cops and DEP officers more than once.
Years ago driving on the pierce elevated, one night I had a tyre explode.
Be willing to bet I set some kind of state record for fastest tyre change over the top of a shitty neighborhood.
Oh man...get em
Pit Row
I’d limped all the way to the Woodlands or Conroe before I stopped to change a tire in that hood lol. Depending on which way you going.
thyere already in mexico
That’s definitely the CH bike. I built that bike and had subsequently sold it to the guy on the west coast that it got stolen from. I used a ton of trick bits on that build, including one off billet front motor mount plates (that are still on there )Looks like the dirty bastards grabbed the first generation DG head though
The administration says crime is down and we are safer than ever!
I hope he gets whatever is left of it back, and justice is served. Legal and or street justice, I'd be ok with both, good luck.
Damn, I can't imagine...

Thieves make great pig food
REMOVE any Motocross related decals from the side of trailers and vehicles, if you must park in hotels... add big signage, 'Joes Septic tank cleaning'. Who'd wanna steal that? No shit!
good ol' Moreno Valley.. one of, if not the shittiest city in California
My vote is lots of trailer signage, shady hotel somewhere in Baltimore, and the trailer filled with about 10 good ol boys with a couple Louisville sluggers.
I will most likely never use a trailer but if i do, I'm getting like 'Big Dans Used Mens Underware Sales' on the side.
*cue the gay dude who posts here saying he'll happily break in*
