Someone at Kawi is probably doing the math of how many millions it would cost to bring Prado earlier than 2025 Anaheim...

With the pace Prado currently has, he can win the championship a few races before the final round, would be cool to see him hit a few outdoor MX races but considering his future seems to be in Team Green, KTM is probably not going to let him do it

I can’t wait for Prado to get to the states. Him and Jett will have epic battles outdoors in 2025. We sre set for an epic season if Prado can get through sx healthy.

Sardinia always lacks crowd. It’s almost like a oversea GP cause it’s more than half a day ferry trip to go there, some teams don’t even take their big semi trucks to this venue cause of that. Arco next weekend will be packed to the limit.

If he can wrap it up early,  smx races are maybe in play!   I'd assume it would be on a KTM though.  He might have to race one national to get enough points though?

Congrats to Jorge and Kay.

What a shame about the crashes of Gajser and Herlings, but Jorge has had a very good line.

It's how Riola Sardo is : bugger all room / viewing areas for spectators. And very limited viewing through that, and through the terrain and vegetation.

I'd be very surprised if the track could ever clear more room for spectator viewing - it's a sand dune type area, that I suspect / expect, that you'd Not be allowed to clear Any (more) vegetation. I've been involved with a venue that had such (correct) restrictions.

I can only assume that somehow, it's a 'Luongo Track'. As in, absolutely bugger all , well, nothing is charged for the Race Rights, as, with it's restrictions on Spectating, No One could ever make enough from it to pay the usual Enormous fees  for the rights to have a GP that are charged.

Of course, the bill could be footed by the Gov. of Sardegna, as that's become the Sports Model.

And, it is an example of the 'we don't give a flying fugg about spectator attendance', from  so many Sports controllers - TV / Streaming is so very important nowadays.

Nonetheless, it's a great track, but we'll have people jump on the small spectator attendance, through having extremely limited viewing areas - not to mention it's Island setting, as you're not easily driving there, and it can be a bit of an 'adventure' getting there, as it was for me a few years ago. It was Well worth it though!

I’m gonna say it, Herlings is done. This is coming from someone who’s been a fan of him since his 85 days. In my opinion, he’s never been the same since he broke his heel. He got beaten today my over 20’s in each moto by a guy with a sprained ankle.

When it came to the sand races, they might’ve well given him the winner’s trophy before the weekend started. He won his 3rd GP at his home race at 15 years old! A 1-1 at that. Nearly laps the field at Lieop 2012, pushes Cairoli for the win at the MXON’s the same year. Still wins at Lierop in 2013 with a fucked shoulder. Gets his foot run over on the sighting lap in Latvia 2019, rides & wins the race then tells this team his foot is hurt again. He got landed on at his home GP, still wins the race with a broken shoulder blade. What I’m trying to say he used to be so much better in the sand than how he’s riding now. Yes Prado & Gajser have improved in the sand but it’s more to with Herlings not being as fast these days. He just didn’t lose in the sand.

Next weekend is a hard pack, tight one lined track. I can’t see him winning there. I like to proved wrong but I can’t see him winning another WC.

Fun fact: Jorge Prado now after only 3 rounds has more overall wins than last year when he won the title lmao.

It is ironic, that the Best riders ad champions,(Vialle) racing the premier world series, rather go to compete in some regional championships

SX was touted as the reason for the dominance of Team USA for decades.

It only changed when they started to get beaten - convenient huh? Maybe we're about to go full circle.

I think it stepped up to host GP's during Covid, a lot of the teams test there in the winter, and they are in Italy again next week at Trentino, so some will stay and maybe test a little, everyone else will meander back to Northern Italy , where as its said, it will be rammed.

I would rather be racing there than Indonesia

I think it's a bit stupid to think this.....if you know what herlings expercienced in the last two years.....by herlings's standaards it might not be good....but it wasn't really  bad in my opinion either...if he hadn't fallen then i don't know yet if prado had won......herlings is really going to win again but give hij some time

Kinda similar situation to Tomac in SX . Let's wait a few more GPs . I don't think he'll win this title but we may see some of the old Herlings and see him get some wins .

I sincerely hope I’m wrong but you only see glimpses of the old Herlings. Like in the 1st race he made quick, well timed passes & looked like he’d close down the leaders. Herlings of old would’ve caught them.

JT's a natural in the booth.

Would be nice if he would quit making references to MX2 Moto’s earlier in the day. I like how MXGP break races up into hour long programs when you don’t watch em live. Malin doesn’t give away 250 races during 450 races. Small complaint.

What happened to Valk, didnt line up in moto 2?

I love how people are talking about Herlings when Gajser is just 17 points down on Prado.

I’m certainly not saying Tim won’t win on a hard packed track but it’s impossible to be far better than Prado right now. He’s riding extremely well and his starts are on point. He’s going to be really hard to beat at any given round.

We're 3 rounds in with 3 completely different tracks.

Argentina is unique to the GP schedule, super fast and sketchy. Prado won.

Madrid. Pretty typical hard packed track with a lot of ruts. Prado won.

Sardegna. One of the softer sand tracks on the schedule. Prado won.

I can't see him losing this title, he's the complete package now. The only way he gets beaten is if he gets hurt.

To me Prado is favorite regardless of the track with the way he is riding. But Arco for sure is a better track for Tim then Sardegna was
