No I haven't checked with a local dealer yet. I usually grab stuff off on RMATV.
I am talking about the smaller of the two oil drain bolts, the one just up from the shift lever on the crankcase cover. The manual calls it "Engine Oil Drain Bolt (Oil Tank)".
Are you saying it is the same size as the coolant drain bolt washer?
If it's just an aluminum sealing washer, those can usually be had from places like eBay/Amazon in multi-packs, typically for a lot less than the OE wants for a single. Just get the ID/OD and thickness to match it up.
Yeah man good call. It's just a simple washer, so a bulk pack would be great to find.
I ran rubber crush washers for a while when I had some drain plug issues. They work pretty damn well. Never had an issue.

Well according to RMATV it is an M6 washer. Their oil change kit includes a M10 and M6 crush washer for the two drain plugs. They sell a 10 pack of M6 washers for $5.

Any opinions/reviews on race tech setups with this bike? My local guy that I'd like to use is a race tech shop but I've seen next to no reviews for race tech stuff on these.
Stick with Enzo and be done. They understand the bike and the components better
Agreed!
A close friend of mine loves the Race Tech setup on his 2024. I rode it and thought it was really good as well.
Contact Levi Kilbarger at Bonzi Suspension in Logan, OH.
He races a '23 YZ450 with Race Tech products
Edit - When you call, tell him what you want. I know that may sound crazy but in my case,
I want bottoming resistance and small bump plushness. He works with a huge range of rider skill levels and ages.
Can't say enough good things about his work and work ethic.
Yeah Levi is close to me as well. I had him do a 19 kx for me that was good. We're fortunate to have a bunch of good suspension guys in the Ohio area.
Dont even have one yet but already started ordering stuff lol...
We finally got around to doing our tank lid mod!
How do I get one for my 24 yz450?
Can anyone tell me if previous gen triple clamps work? How about if previous gen top triple clamps alone will work?
Clamps (including aftermarket) that fit the previous gen will fit the current gen (goes back to 2010). The current top clamp is the same part number for current vs previous gen (so "yes" to your second question), but the bottom clamp is different (likely a different flex characteristic). Both are the same offset though (22mm).
Kinda unusual to only swap the top clamp on a newer bike (I did so on a 2005 YZ125 to get away from cast bar mounts and use fatbars). What gives?
My reasoning is incase i come across a deal on a top clamp only in the Neken clamp to try their sfs system without going all in. Great info tho.
Pit Row
Ah got it, makes total sense.
Back to 2010 on the 450 and 2012 on the 250F are the same fitment. The only exception being the 2016-2017 450 being 25mm offset instead of 22 (possibly the 2017 250 as well?).
Shoot me a DM or look us up on social media or google, TAGMX
Thanks for that. If i dont end up finding that technology to try, i may try a set of your bar mounts. Im not one who needs full clamps for bling, but just like the idea of added comfort in the bar mounts. I had actually sent you a resume awhile back when I was on Honda's but hadnt heard back. Must not have made the cut. Lol
We've just been so slammed we haven't done much with the rider support program aside from various pro teams and riders. Hoping to open that up to more racers soon later this year, just been hard to keep up with everything as-is!
No worries! Lol. I get to drool over Crute's stuff! Lol
I ordered the "1" JDM quick latch" off amazon for like $10. I cut the pin bolt to make it fit exactly as needed to push air box cover fit tighter.
Do you have the amazon link? Having trouble finding it.

Ayyy... Thanks.. another something i didn't know i needed. Lol
I went with Enzo and THOUGHT is was really harsh. I was having serious issues with acceleration bumps out of turns sitting down. it was beating me like a jack hammer. So I recently upgraded to the Guts wide seat soft foam and added 14mm to the height. It's a different bike I can sit down most anywhere, it feels so much more plush. It is amazing to me. My suspension feels insanely better. I'm 60 years though. If i had a choice of the Yoshi, Enzo or the Guts wide seat you can straight up only choose one. Guts seat foam upgrade all day long. The seat ruins this bike. I never would have thought it affected my suspension set up that much but I was setting up my bike around the crappy OEM seat. Had I upgraded the seat I may not have upgraded the suspension. I love the ENZO don't get me wrong I can flat land out of the sky and it soaks it up like a miracle but I had them set it up for race pace and my old butt can't run race pace very long in practice. Plus it's set up for 215 lb and I lost weight down to 200. Anyway my 2 cents. I will post a seat review with more pics comparing foam tomorrow.
I know you're 60 (I'll be 50 in two months), but relating suspension settings to seat foam is unreal.
