Here is the list of all the riders that led laps since 2003 season. I couln't go any further but I found this stat to be very interesting! Given some more time, I could do the same for Pro motocross and MXGP

You need to do percentage of laps led to be fair as there are more laps to be led since they switched to 20mins+1
I love how all of Larocco’s are from Indy 04
Is this the 250cc aka 450 class only?
It hurts me that Kenny has so many laps led but no SX title

Yes
Love reading the stats you put together thanks for the post.
It was a huge surprise to me to hear Kenny was never in an Lcq before last weekend. For some reason, it reminded me of Dungey's insane top 3 streak or whatever it was, can't remember at the moment. But that's super impressive to never end up in an lcq considering everything that could go wrong in a heat.
I'd be curious to hear more unique stats such as
Top championship contenders who were in the most lcqs.
Which average position would you need to finish in each Championship to win the title ? For example, would 4th place at every race win you the title?
Worst average finisher who won a championship.
Just some ideas but thanks again for putting this together always love reading them.
I did not have RonRon leading 12 laps in 03.
Same stats for AMA Pro Motocross since 2004. I just miss the last 5 rounds of 2015.

Can you do moto wins ?
992 laps for RC in 3.5 seasons. LMAO.
I think in 2004 he led all but 12 laps.
As far as the last rounds of 2015, Dungey should be ahead of Tomac considering he led most of those. Roczen should have more as well as I know he won the last moto of that year. Barcia should have a bit more as well from 15 that was his best year.
Good info, plus if I had to make an estimate RC would have 352 more from 02, 03 probably another 240 as it was 11 rounds and 500-550 more from 00-01 giving him around 2040ish laps lead.
Unfortunately SX laps records are going to be useless as now they have upwards of 4-6 laps more per main due to 20+1 mains.
All time?
I used to have a pretty big list somewhere.
I was talking the time frame he was working with but all time would be great .
What’s really sad on my part, is I could go through year by year starting in the mid 90s and be pretty accurate with moto wins. I don’t know why I can remember this crap.
What race did Rusty Holland lead a lap in since 2004 😳
I don't wanna be that guy.
I don't want to turn this into yet another 'Let's all blow / shit on Jett' thread, depending on which side you come down on them.
But seeing his 1x 450 season at the sharp end of that outdoors list is pretty impressive.
I think it deserves it's own thread
Pit Row
Only if it has a poll! 😂
Shoug 04 actually haha.
Finally did it for MXGP since 2004

Ricky has led surprisingly few laps of Supercross considering his titles and wins. Unbelievable.
Those Motocross stats look about what you would expect though from RC… Kenny nearly led as many laps as the GOAT is a bit of a surprise.
kaidodragon is a stats Professor!
I always appreciate his near instant stats he supplies about the GPs.
Though, there seems to be always some Drongo(s) that down votes his efforts. What's the problem with some good info, people?
Looking at Cairoli's total, I went, flaminheck!
Then saw Everts stats. Now, considering those stats take in just 3 of his seasons, that's even more of a flaminheck moment.
I'd love to see some Full Career statistics, kaidodragon .
How the heck did you calculate all that information? Did you have to manually count it?
Thanks for posting, interesting to see those Stats.
One question, where's Greg Albertyn on that list. He won a SX therefor he must have led some laps.
It is missing his two best seasons, win wise.
Also remember, there were only 16 races during Ricky’s tenure.
And in 03 SX Reed won more races than RC.
No kidding?
Add at least 400 laps from 2001 and 02. That’s pretty conservative. Plus 20 from 2000 Daytona. He’s at at least 850 laps lead for his career.
I remember him leading in 99 and other 00 rounds as well. 850 sounds like it would be close
