Tech wise, compared to what the man was winning championships on back in the 90's, it is "Super".  So, technically, he is right.....  He is the King, he can call it whatever the hell he wants.  He's earned the right.....

Plus, he's probably just adding in a small plug for the new branding of the series.  I would take a guess with size checks he gets, he's smart enough to say what he's told to say.  I damn sure would.

It is like gaslighting the fans, oh so for 50 years they were "motocross" bikes and now they are "supermotocross" bikes 😂  suddenly in 2023 it changed for $$$ reasons from FELD ENTERTAINMENT.   it actually does matter, since the sport wasn't just invented last year.

Are you still angry that they don't call the classes "125" and "250" anymore, also?

Remember when Michael changed a thread title so it didn't say DangerBaby because it was childish but leaves a title calling McGrath a prostitute because it's not. I remember.

Though I don’t like the term SuperMotocross, I’m just glad we have racing to watch. People bitch during the off season. People bitch when there’s racing. Yet, the world keeps going round and, round.

In the motorcycle business we are all prostitutes if you think about it. I have a room,a toolbox and a lift. Also a pimp that protects me and schedules my appointments and collection. I do try to wash up between customers.

Did Jeremy really call it a supermotocross bike?

So out of that whole epic conversation with RC and MC, you plucked out that phrase and somehow decided that comment makes MC a whore. How soulful of you Laughing  Why do really not like McGrath ? There has to more to this post

Some never got ovr MC cutting his cool hair in 96.  But it has me thinking about changing my bikes legal name too. Super double boost ported.  SDBP. Instead of the double boost port. What you think ?

Genuine question, what do we call this now? Is it still supermoto - but without the cross?

Now that we finally have MC & Villopoto in there from time to time, why have we not seen Pastrana yet?

You're right, i have a feeling those two have some beliefs in common. Print unlimited money. Freebies. Inflation doesn't hit the top .01%

Invested is right. It’s a big ol’ club and you and I aren’t in it.

Are the manufacturers going to start calling them supermotocross bikes in their marketing campaigns? Is the entire industry in the midst of gaslighting us?

It’s fair to hold your perspective. It’s also fair that I express mine.

You can make your point without calling the guy a prostitute.

Well they are racing in a stadium that has jumps but not whoops, isn't that the results of Motocross+Supercross, what's now considered Supermotocross?

No, they were deleted externally. A similar process as Emig,s 91 yz125, remember the external porting ? Speaking of 125,s MC still has Great style on 1.

He's right we shouldn't be calling him a prostitute. But he definitely uses the lingo/talking points of the powers in command

another guy, like ricky, terrified of giving his opinion or saying anything mildly politically incorrect

"when you have nothing, you have nothing to lose"

Its actually ironic.... you know, when you've got 10,000 spoons when all you need is a knife.

These guys who made 10+ million should feel liberated enough to say and do whatever they want

for some reason its the opposite, they become terrified of getting pushed out of the inner circle and end up capitulating to literally any demand

Especially when talking to potential sponsors. All about the supermotocross.

If only they could add Deluxe in there somewhere.

And to the point that many industries, like motorcycle, porn, etc, they have conventions and expo's. There you will find  many ex performers, stars and professionals working for companies selling things and signing autographs. Making a living and towing the company line, I say good for him.
