This race is great example of why I do not buy at all this notion that Jett is just cruising around and has so much more available that he can just choose to use at any time.

He's just like everyone else. You can always twist it more, but as soon as you do your risk of error skyrockets. Jett gave a little more and put in some fast laps.... then went down, made mistakes, etc....

So I wish they'd stop with this "managing a gap" or "riding at 80%" nonsense. Until he laps the field or starts winning by ridiculous margins, it just isn't true.

Lack of patience put him down not pushing too hard. 2 sec a lap faster then everyone on a sx track is insane

How many laps was he 2 seconds a lap faster than everyone. He finished in 3rd 23 seconds back in a 24 lap race. Help me with this new-age math Chris 🥴

On a night where he finished 3rd by 23 seconds you say there's no stopping him?

Damn, what a good year to be there in person! I don’t care what Jett says, he did not have Webb and Sexton’s pace. You could just tell.

I keep waiting for Anderson to turn it up. It's good for him he's signed thru next year.

Not sure, don't remember. I do know Webb and Jett have swapped paint more than once this year including tonight.

I got beat tonight because I didn't get off the gate good, got caught behind a lapper, and made a risky pass attempt on Coop that caused me to crash. I did beat a charging AP by a second or so to finish 3rd

No problem kid. And this is why we hand out the trophy at the end of the season. Not the beginning or middle.

See you in St. Louis for another Triple Crown event.

P.s Coop said go ahead and run it in harder next time 😉

Webb is the ultimate chess player. Jett needs to be more crafty with him PERIOD.

Does Webb have the best race craft ever? Wardy, JMB, Reed were damn good too.

If Jett wants to be the next King of Supercross maybe he should try the win by the 30 seconds approach that Kitchen is doing.

Like forrest gump?

A great night of racing, certainly came down to who made the least amount of mistakes.

Overall they seamed to have similar pace.

Hunter rolls out another performance to disappoint his fans.

We prefer Chateauneuf du Pape here. As red and consistent than Jett's front number plate.🍷

Hunter disappointment? Bad start, was back in 13th at one point, rolled up to 7th. Not bad imo. Count me as one fan not disappointed.

Also riding with injury. 7th isnt bad.

Theres no rider ahead of him he should be ashamed to have been beaten by.

Webb. Sexton. Jett. Plessinger. Roczen. Tomac.

He finished ahead of Anderson, Barcia and Stewart. Those guys should be disappointed in their result. Hunter would love to have done better. But realistically all those guys ahead of him are better riders.

Count me as not disappointed, either. I had high hopes for a top 5 after the heat win, but 7th after a shit start ain’t too bad.

Why isn't there points in the LCQ's

The best racing every year is in the LCQ's

Underrated for sure

ILoveMoto wrote:

If they got points probably wouldn't be as exciting. Better question is why does 22nd in the main not get points 🤯

Already a thread on that

Yea that was a rhetorical question...
