Never mind not getting the triple in the rhythm, Jett isn’t doing some insane quad or anything. Ricky isn't the best yes nothing new, the sport hasn't had great commentary since Bailey.

I like RC in the booth. Yes he will be missed once he retires.
I find it hard to believe everyone is totally cool with racing for second. Just easier to accept what I see with my own eyes - kid is smooth and fast whenever he needs to be. Enjoy it - youth is fleeting.
I was just thinking the same thing. We may be witnessing a generational talent. He is damn smooth and efficient.
Like i said it's nothing new Emig and Ralph were just as bad they just had better voices, the amount of bashing on them two was real, now people miss them, just like they will miss Ricky when he's gone.
Commentators are llike room-mates you love them when they first come in but once you learn their behavioral patterns you start to get annoyed, a lot of people want AC9 in there it will be the same story.
That was the most risk I've seen Eli take this year.
Some observations from timing and scoring for those who are interested:
Looking at segment times from 450 Heat #1, Eli is absolutely destroying segment 3. He ran a 6.078 on lap 8(!), the next closest, believe it or not, was Steinke with a 6.863 through there on lap 5. For reference, Chase's quickest in that same section came on lap 6 with a 8.185, Hunter 8.810 on lap 2.
Can't really compare different heats as the track breaks down, but for reference in 450 Heat #2, segment 3, Malcom actually had the fastest time through that section, 6.925 on lap 3. Jett's quickest was 7.521 on lap 1. Plessinger's best was 8.351.
Is that a Blue KTM? Ralph would’ve had a field day with that one.
You never want to start to lead the first lap of the LCQ- 95% of the time they crash before completing that lap!
