It would be great…. But don’t count on it.  The 9 whoop spec came after the track maps were created.

flatten the whoops and make the entire track oval and off camber.

Rained pretty good for about 15 min. Just stopped. Pretty typical spring weather here. Forcast is usually 50/50.

Edit: it’s raining again.

This is the only way they can make the jumps hard enough to stay intact without lime. Pack the jumps with this baby.

Also looked like they got the track covered before it rained yesterday so just have to hope the rain stops in the morning tomorrow and we’ll dodge another mudder.

this looks good for the moment. Is there any initial riding at the track today? I forget how practice works these days.

Hopefully weather holds out. Bought our lil guy a poncho just in case.

I called it. They changed it to 9 whoops. Then turned the last 3 whoops into a wall jump. Lame

The track maps were created before they implemented the 9 whoop rule.

Bold move. To predict there would be 9 whoops after they’ve been saying that the last several rounds… Nostradamus!

That video is from yesterday before they covered it, it’s under plastic now so no press day riding today and no free practice sessions tomorrow.

I know that. But guys on here kept saying they were going to try the 12 whoops this weekend. I knew they wouldn't go back on their new 9 whoop rule.

Looking at that pic and the one from last week from Indianapolis you can tell they're not using as much dirt as in years past. I mean where are these layouts?

It’s not a rule. More of a guideline. I wish they would just stick with 10 or some other amount that doesn’t make them jumpers every week.

Yea that was me sorry. I saw the map and jumped to the wrong conclusion. You did say there'd be 9.

I don't know who would want to sit on the finish line side of the stadium. All of your racing is on the other side.

I looked up ticket prices yesterday. Low level seats are $20 for the finish line side and $175 for the same seats on the opposite side of the stadium lol.

I think you looked at the wrong sections. Upper level has the $20 tickets. Equal seats in the lower sections finish side vs opposite are $80 compared to $100.

Side note: looks like they sold a lot of tickets despite the weather!
