Has Jett been passed since being on a 450?

Kenny did this past weekend, early in the 2nd or 3rd race. I would call that a legit pass

On a similar note, It seems funny that every time Jett comes up behind Kenny, Kenny just cruises a second and lets him on by. kind of like he knows it's inevitable so why waste the effort.

I looked this up the other day.  I don’t think anyone passed him at 2022 MXoN. I think in SMX rd 1 moto 1 Anderson and Ken passed him.  Not once in 2023 outdoors.  Not at 2023 MXoN.  This year so far I think Ken at San Francisco (maybe others but might have been Jett falling).  Since then it was only Ken again in race 3 at Indy just after Jett got the holeshot, although he eventually passed Kenny back.

So about 3 or maybe 4 times.

Prado passed him at A2..
He got lapped at Rd 2..

Maybe momentarily, but otherwise Jett was moving forward and Prado backward in all 3 A2 races.

The better question is, were any of those passes 'straight up'??!!!

Kenny did pass him at High Point moto 1. Not when Jett fell down…. it was a legit pass at the bottom of the hill before you go back up the hill to the finish line. Jett got him back shortly after. But I have it on cell phone video. 

The question was, "has Jett been passed?" the answer is yes, multiple times.

Roczen is the only one to make it stick on a non muddy track. During the SMX Playoffs.

Jett's a great rider but the nut swinging is next level.

Just makes me think how different it would be and would have been if Kenny never had those injuries. Guy was on an absolute tear after that 2016 outdoor title.

When Roczen caught him from 8 seconds back and Jett waved him by so it looked like he didn’t legitimately get passed. Yes that one. 

Passed and and beaten him in the race - without jett crashing - maybe 3 times in his 450 career… which is JS7 level stuff

who would of thought back at the start of a 2023 season we would be discussing a rookie going 22-0 and currently sprayed more champion in 12 months then majority of the current riders combined. 

Worlds best riders racing each other in the deepest field ever.. And we are having conversations on if a rookie has ever been passed?

I can’t believe this place still pretends like crashing isn’t part of racing.

So what if a rider loses the rear end out of a corner, puts a foot down, catches it, but comes to a complete stop, and gets passed? Straight up?

What if a rider stalls it in a tight rutted corner? What if Kenny does? Different rule?

What if a rider cases a jump and has to roll the next two?

Jumps off track, slips on plywood, never goes down?

Which mistakes count, which don’t?
