Huh?
Pierre Karsmakers won the 1st true sx race daytona 74.
Anything b4 that in history books is listed as mx. Just like the la coliseum race was the super bowl of "motocross" other race of the like were stadium "motocross" and in the record books are counted as mx wins.
Are you a man of your word? I wonder if you truly will continue to update after each one of Jett's wins or if you are just a social media troll and trying to imply that was Jett's last win? Stealing a famous saying from Deegan fan's, are you a grown man hating on a kid???
Ok Darren.

I am feeling stalked
You are correct. I thought they counted those, but I was wrong. I'll adjust the list.
No, in fact I think he has a shot at McGrath's win record. That's why I want to track his wins. I thought comparing his wins to other greats (relative to the number of races Jett's done) would be more interesting than simply watching his name climb up the all-time win list.
The 72 la race is labelled the 1st supercross.
But according to statistics it was a mx race in a stadium. Until daytona 74 when the inaugural sx championship started.
Updated, as promised
Deegan 450 SX win tracker... Hear me out.

I get it, Jett is almost all the way to 73 supercross wins already. But, it seems unfair to have Jett's 450 SX win tracker without also having one for Deegan's 450 SX wins too. Deegan is so clearly positioned to beat Jett's all time supercross records and take the crown.
He’s now moved into 23rd overall on the career wins list, equal with Musquin on 27.
What you're looking for is win concentration over a career, or specifically starts? Like if Jett won A1 and then got hurt during the week before rd2 and were out for the rest of this 17rd season, is he at 100%, or 6%?
Specifically starts. I don't count injury or missed mains.
I'm not sure how to feel about it, because we take these measures to see how good someone is throughout their career, then we discard races where they didn't do well, like if they crash out in practice, or their heat race. Otherwise it's kind of like asking, "when you did good, how good did you do?".
You probably don't need to maintain that last category of where they finished at the last race. It doesn't seem to be pertinent to the metric. And that 1 or 2 win list is gonna get gnarly as time goes on. You may want to cut it at under 5 or something at some point.
The Cycle News archives has LCQ results going back to the early 80's so it's doable, but it’d be pretty tedious. I'll consider it.
Tracking down daytime results before 2003 is basically impossible, and I think it's fair to consider starts as actually starting the night program.
The "last race result" is more for me than anything, a kind of bookmark to remember where each rider is at in their career.
As the list of winners grow, I may trim the list down to top 10.
Will be interesting at 10 races in
So far no McG or RC...
I am confused
It took MC nine 250 races to get his first win; RC took 21.

How could you possibly add missed races to the riders record as losses. Imagine other sports doing it like tennis? Ohh you got injured and hypothetically you would have played 200 matches but you won 10 from 10. Now you win percentage isn't 100% it's 5%.
What about prado? When he comes back next year? 0 from 17??
It has to be races vs starts = win percentage.
This would actually be really cool to see as a two axis chart with X being win # and Y being # of races
Most of the guys on that list didnt even ride a 450 in a SX race.
What's a race? I think the race is Detroit Round 5 and at the minimum, showing up with a bike and gear and throwing a leg over counts as you showing up for the race. Crashing out in practice or a heat means you showed up for the race and messed up and I don't see anything different between that and crashing out of a main. Certainly not enough of a difference to make the data suggest that you never showed up at all.
I find it easier just to go riding.
They are just measuring different things. At this point tracking races won/races started is a decent comparison. But if Jett is at (say) 50 wins at age 27, then comparing ages is probably more relevant, if the goal is to see how likely he is to catch McGrath. (McGrath had 52 wins before turning 27.)
I'm sure it will all be cleared up when we see the other tracker OP plans to add...
Stool sample/consistency
Urine sample/analysis
Sperm count
Magoofan maintaining his usual quality of posting.
If he stay out of injuries (He had already some warning), I don't see anyone have something for him on the whole season. Great starter, young, fit, positif, he don't complain a lot about settings, settings always seems on point, faster than fast, smart, first to try something different on the track and he don't make the same mistake twice. It's like he has studied and tough with his brother a lot and closely about the sport and build something from that.
It's close to be already a two way battle. Could be a kind of Dungey 2017. Chase not the faster but rock solid waiting for the mistake of the faster dude.

Updated; Jeremy McGrath enters the conversation.
Jett now has 29 career wins, equal 19th on the overall win list with Webb, Bradshaw and LaRocco.
Also if he wins this SX title he will sit equal with Barnett, Emig, Bailey and Keidrowski on 4 career titles.
