Indy is always like this.. but all the other tracks this year 100% agree. Where’s the hard pack tracks? Like rv/dungey era
I've been saying this the past 3 weeks. WTH is going on with all the soft dirt? Bring back the lime in covered stadiums at least. This Startcross and Rutcross is getting ridiculous.
To be fair, it has rained/snowed a shit ton across the country this winter. Maybe something to do with it?
Not here in Wisconsin. Most of the Midwest has been dry all winter long.

Though the caliber of riding ruts is very impressive and gnarly. I feel like we don't see a set of whoops that will actually hold up all night. I find them to be boring lately. It seems they usually end up being a long deep rut the riders have to tip toe their way through.
It would be awesome to see a hard pack set of whoops that require blitzing to be fastest.
Every year you know Indy will deliver ruts, just like you expect Anaheim to be hard pack, but unfortunately rain early in the season changed that.
Let’s just hope we see some different dirt and conditions for the rest of the season. Don’t need SX to become homogeneous like Outdoors.

Its been this way the past couple season. All the outdoor tracks are ripped super deep and made the same as well, but that's a different topic.
For a second there I thought the title was about a Hodaka Super Rat
How many tracks in a row have these guys described as super difficult, gnarly, etc. All of them.
They were ripping them super deep 2917-2020ish but I think the prep has gotten better in recent years.
Isn’t a big part of racing being the riders ability to adapt to the different track and conditions?
Sure makes for a more exciting race than everyone playing follow the leader and everyone doing the exact same thing.
I’m ready to see a dry / baked track for once
Now available at Ralphs!
And Krogers!
Same prep mentality has hit amature moto too, and it sucks.
Need some rollers to pack in jumps
