Maybe you and the others that clog these threads up with shit just to argue can just move along and not post your usual drivel.

You realize the irony in your "clog" comment right?

Come on man, you and I have agreed on bunch of stuff.   You gotta admit the constant nw Stark threads can be perceived as annoying.   Kinda like all the Deegan and Lawrence threads.   Other forums tend to keep one Main thread for discussion of models OR a sub-forum.    Shocking.

You can’t bitch about Starks being in moto if you post your adventure “air shot” in moto every chance you get

@mxA dic  you wouldn’t slap anyone,  I’d bet my paycheck on it and it’s amazing to see that you have yet burnt up another day posting on Vital. Who’s the Vitard???

Considering you had such a great day and want to cap it of with so much negativity when none was directed at you seems pretty clear to me you are.

It's the rider making the pass's responsibility to do it safely, even if you have zero etiquette, zero awareness and are a drunk Vince Friese!

So I guess all the electric cars that make a noise backing up to protect the pedestrians isn't a thing I guess it's the responsibility of the guy backing up to not hit anybody it takes two people to avoid an accident🤷‍♂️ somebody should have told Elon he could have saved some money Lol

That's funny LOL but you missed the point that it takes two to avoid contact on the race track can't do that if you can't hear the other one🤷‍♂️ not against electric they'll figure it out but right now in my experience with actually riding with one it was a little sketchy!

I've just learned to move on by if I see a thread that doesn't interest me, not that hard really. But to spend your time bitching about it constantly in every thread seems a bit counter-productive, no?

You are missing my point, if the rider in front doesn't want to be passed, noise is to their advantage, they can hear where the rider behind is and block them.

Lack of noise can be an advantage to the rider behind, they can dive down the inside, without the other rider being aware until it's too late and they have been passed.

If collisions are your concern, hold your line and don't ride like a drunk Vince Friese.

Many attempts have been made for one mega thread, but you and the hater brigade destroy every single Stark thread that is started so then more threads begin.

I certainly don't post in every "Stark" thread.... and I usually make a comment or two and bail out most of the time.

...but seriously, these threads would be 1 pagers without MXAddic and others.   Laughing

That was the downside I noticed when I rode one on a turn track, very soft off the "bottom" before it takes off. Probably safer but sometimes you want that snap.

I rode my friends 80hp version, and thought the same thing, so I had him put a 2 tooth bigger rear sprocket on it, and it was much faster and responsive off the bottom. I don't know anyone that will go 80 mph on an MX track, so loosing a little top speed didn't hurt anything.

The greater tuning possibilities to come has been talked about for a while now.

To me, it's Perfectly understandable that 'all' things weren't available from the get go.

Something I noticed in a recent interview with Anton, was him referring to , what I took as , Purchasable upgrades. I was surprised that that was not jumped on by the usual idiotic wankers here.

It's become quite the way for companies of all types to make money from their ever more Tech laden 'things'. I understand that, but I have to say, the, at times, exorbitant prices charged for , often, just 'unlocking' a feature already In a Electrical Gizmo, is a bit off, to me.

I now have a few mates with Stark Vargs - had a recent ride on one / a couple and it was quite a fine Motorcycle. Different, but, an easily adapted to different. Tried a few settings, rode in both tight stuff and on my mates Little Unadilla - grass MX track, by the sloped side of a river - pure riding Heaven.

Tried 30 /35 HP in the tight stuff, noticed a bit of a lack of snap, but just opened the throttle a bit more, like I would a 125 / 150. 45 HP, worked far better in those circumstances, as I'm somewhat 'hefty'.

And yes, I tried 80HP, - for about 2 laps on the grass MX  course. Rather  eye opening, and I found the 50 /55HP setting just about perfect - made it much like my 500.

As to the actual throttle? - didn't look at it closely. I have noted a few people's saying it's a bit of a disappointing standard fitment for such a high quality bike. So, with not studying it, I can't say if it could have, say, a travel limiting screw on it, al la PWs etc. Just thinking that that might be something that could be done, for those that want the response of the 50/ 55+HP settings, without the actual 50 /55+HP? EDIT : Well, heck, The  80HP setting - that's for the idiots, well, f***wits that will fixate on a throttle limiting screw. I did notice it wasn't an ultra quick turn throttle, but had no real problem with it.

It was, for me, an incredibly easy bike to adapt to. As, it / they were fitted with LHRBs, and I've used them for over 2 decades now. I had a few chuckles at a few blokes that had just started on LHRBs though - a few were overshooting turns, when they were stabbing for a non existent foot lever - one almost going into the river...

The noise thing ? Nobody can hear my 500 when I'm with them, as I mostly run a 24 / 26" long muffler, and I'm not at high revs (compared to 4 strokes, or, little 2 strokes), and it's damned near silent, compared to the F**king Loud 4 strokes most are on. So, riding a quiet bike ? Well,  I've survived, as have my fellow riders out there with me. And, Sneak attacks are fun!

Until we get the ability to adjust the throttle maps, have you tried adjusting gearing? The 19" rear tire Varg has 14/48 gearing and tops out at about 90mph, which for motocross is pretty excessive. If you drop down to a 12T front (like Alta MXR has stock) it'll shift the power curve lower in the mph range at the expensive of top speed. The bike will feel more responsive that way.

The pre-production bikes I rode in Barcelona a year ago felt a little more snappy than our production bikes do. The throttle was tuned a bit more aggressive at the time.

You are right. Then again, for my riding, the battery lasts well enough and I charge V2L from car so battery is not really an issue. Maybe I should ride in 60hp mode so I get more power with less twist... I just don't like the max power with max twist, too much for me.

This is really nitpicking, generally I'm super happy... but if I could just adjust the throttle response curve, fantastic!

I’m willing to bet it needs to be that way depending on rider style also, without the clutch to use to slip, to control delivery and smooth out power delivery, making the throttle curve gentle is probably better for more riders than not.

The Vargs are not silent like a Tesla is. I think the Varg's are 60ish DB.   Cars also have peski things like brake lights n, directionals, etc.
