Its one of the tightest tracks on the schedule. "lots of floor space"? good one...lol Same exact size as Minneapolis.

Great venue and cool city but I agree with nrosso the floor space is not as large as it might seem. Going to be my first time attending a triple crown so I'm pumped for that.

Thanks, Snapper. I went to the Indy Links forum topic, and saw the map I posted above. I didn't have my coffee yet.

I saw that too.  Great looking scene there in Indy.  I have not seen a track like that in a while.

I love Lucas Oil Stadium. After we heard the news the HHH Metrodome was coming down and the replacement was going to be similar to Indy, I went to Indy the next year. Man that place has it all. TV screens watching the everything happening on the stadium floor at all times. A lot of eating areas with the TV's. But the actually floor space has the right length but I wish it was about 60 ft wider. Can get 2 more lanes of track if it was. When they made US Bank Stadium the floor is identical to Lucas Oil. But compared to the massive floor the Metrodome had, it was a real bummer when they came back for supercross and we saw the narrow floor.

I think we saw the same thing Danny.  lol.  My first thought was "well, everyone complains the starts are so dangerous, this looks about as slow and soft and jump-free of a  start you can get"  haha  The track map got me going straight too.

Only one true 180 bowl corner.  Ricky will say it’s one lined. With how Indy breaks down it almost doesn’t matter track layout. Always good racing.

Indy is not big. It’s always a tight and technical track. The other big thing with Indy is the dirt breaks down a ton and causes a ton of ruts making it that much more technical by the end.

Should be some great racing, can’t wait!!

Guess maybe it’s the pic that makes it look like such a big floor space

I see a potential quintuple in the foreground, or would that be a triple?

Nothing really stands out on this track to me other than they finally realized putting a SX triple in the lane going across the end zone never produces good racing. 90-triple-90 is basically a waste of floor space so I do like that they made that lane have at least the possibility to have more than one line through it.

Looks like a good track for the triple crown format, though!

Finally, someone else gets it. The misuse of seen, drives me nuts. You didn't seen shit, you saw it.

Flat 180 corner right after the whoops should be interesting. Made for aggressive passing..

Man, too many 90s. Jett will get the start and it'll be over since he'll be able to block so easily.

He wont need to block. He can pull a gap while riding at what amounts to cruise speed for him.
