No one did, I just thought it was childish as hell to have on the main forum page, I mentioned that already.
DangerBaby is so incredibly overrated… and honestly I think I see that largely because I rated him so highly.
I thought he would basically go undefeated through the series. Aside from potentially first turn issues which might drop him back to scraping in to a podium finish.
But he doesn’t look to have improved on last year. Last year he was incredibly impressive. Was consistent and aggressive with a willingness to push the pace and keep it under control for the most part. I figured with a full year under his belt and the Lawrence boys moving up. The 250 class was his to dominate.

The last guy that ran this site regularly censored posts and banned people, especially those that didn't fit his political leanings. Haven't seen that at all since ML took over.
ML is the best thing that has happened to this site in a long time. Nobodys perfect, so he may misstep now and then. But Im grateful he is the bossman around here.
Yep that's right, I got banned for something very minor from memory it was herlings being the best rider related.

I like DangerGuy. it delegitmizes the "brand", the "character"**, without being overly pejorative.

Moderating is a shit show for those doing it (speaking from experience). It's hard to find people who A.) want to put in the time and get repaid in abuse, B.) aren't going to let the power go to their head. (never EVER bring someone on who volunteers for the job....that's a red flag).
Mav and ML have pretty level heads on their shoulders.
I mean come on.... everybody knows you wait until the cameras are off to go dummy someone up.
forums are an unfiltered look at what a target market is doing, brands can use this forum to literally read the minds of their customers. Wouldn’t it help for Dipshitboy’s camp to see what sort of response they are generating in the most core segment of their market???

You could have the winning rider every weekend, but if the fans dont like him and want to emulate him by buying his endorsed bike/kit/products then theres no point in having him.
The last place rider is a better bet if the fans love him.
This forum has been much better ever since you started moderating, Michael. You've taken a much more hands-off approach, and we appreciate that, but you're inching into the previous guy's territory here.

Most of us recognized the title for what it is: a funny poke at DangerBaby's nickname on a weekend when he was acting extremely childish.

Like DV said on Matthes show, Deegan is what he is - before, now and in the future. Barcia is the same, he was dirty and unenlightened at the beginning and he pretty much is the same today. Deegan will be the same douche in 10 years
The moniker "Dangerboy" really is not that much higher on the less childish scale, than "Dangerbaby", Michael.
I do hope he and his family decide to drop that , but, they have so much invested in it, for so many years now. So, I'm not expecting it happening soon.

He is an 18YO child that has been programmed to act/be a certain way. Does anybody remember the movie Short Circuit? He now has RW Input to base his life decisions on. There is little benefit to anybody by continuing to lay it on.
We all know the past never changes from what it has been. Let’s give him the opportunity to grow (not that I think there is much hope) from this just as you would your own child from their mistakes. See if he can become his own man as Brian 2.0 just ain’t workin’. Part of the problem here the bedbugs laid it on too thick on the way up and payback is hell. For certain he will be dealing with the repercussions of his recent actions for along time.
Much better ML moderating based on empathy than GuyB based on politics.
