If Jett does Dominate AMA SX and MX for a few years, I wonder if he'll get bored and look for a new challenge at risk of not setting records for Wins and Championships in the AMA. Personally, I'd like to see him in a few years give the MXGP's a go and see if he's got what it takes to run with those guys. MXGP's are no Joke as RV found out when he raced that series, but if Jett wins every title over here, I wonder if it's ever been discussed for him to go overseas and race for a World Championship, plus he'd get to race bikes that are a little more exotic.
Would you like to see Jett Lawrence eventually racing MXGP's

Idk I’m selfish and want to see him race AMA SX/MX.
He would have no problem being an instant title threat in his first season, he’s that good and adaptable.
I will say the chances of him moving out of Florida to live at Lommel all winter are less than zero
"it would take him a couple years to learn the tracks and his competition"
Hahahahha what are you talking about?!
It's funny people miss the info that the Lawrence brothers raced for years in Europe, before coming to the US. They know the Euro tracks, and most of the competition. Hunter had a bunch of wins in the EMX250, before moving to the MX2 (where he clinched a couple moto wins), and Jett won a GP in the EMX250 class (which is a stepping stone for the GP's, and filled with talent - who often kick ass later in MX2/MXGP).
I think so much of it is down to lifestyle.
MXGP doesn’t offer the ease & comfort sx has.
What we need is the GP’s to grow to a point where the top AMA riders feel like they are missing out. But for the GP’s to grow to that stage it might take a few top AMA guys to come first ( make the US rounds popular). So it might be a chicken & egg scenario.
I can't see a rider capable (and likely favored) of winning 450 supercross titles go to the GP's. RV was over SX when he left, I can't think of anyone else that has done it.

Jett's quest for 73 SX wins would be even more difficult if he was also chasing an MXGP championship. He's going to need everything he's got to get to 73.
That would be funny to see the Lawrence brothers VIP extravaganza set up in the pits at Sumbawa or Afyonkarahisar
The rate things are going that series may cease to exist by the time he has done his business here.
Would love to see it but it won't happen, there's no way he races MXGP in his prime, he not going to leave the AMA dollars on the table, maybe and if MXGP returns to the USA to have a race there after the SMX season, there's a remote but still posible chance that Jett races it.
MXGP's are on the decline though, it seems more European talent has their eyes in the US unlike a few years ago and SMX is growing, future isn't very bright for MXGP unfortunately...
I can't see Jett going to MXGP, not after Hunter's experience with MXGP teams not paying him.
It would have to be a personal challenge issue for him, considering a double series win here sx and mx would probably earn him 8-10mil.
Yeah, they went through the struggles in Europe to get here.
Why take a step back ??
You forgot the third option: "Don't care"

Considering Vialle and Prado will be in the US while Febvre and Herlings might retire in the next couple years I rather see Jett in the US. MXGP will be a one man show soon with Gajser.
If all the potential moves happen, I wouldn't be surprised to see Gajser look for US options too. The GP series just isn't that desirable any more. Run by a greedy group that makes it difficult and ultra expensive to race.
I hope they figure out how to do a 3 race integration of the 2 series....
Why would he want to do that? SX championship if the greatest championship in the world. Ask Prado.
No
I just think it would be a nice trophy to ad to the collection, probably not a whole lot of riders that have a Perfect 450 MX season championship, AMA 450 SX Championship, 450 Super Motocross championship and a MXGP World Championship. That would make him the fastest and most versatile champion off all time.
Pit Row
It would be badass, but I don’t see it ever happening. Life is much easier flying around in just one country and he’s making a killing.
The bloke is an out and out racer. Depending how the next 3-5years go, I could easily see him go there for a season or two.
If he continues to dominate in the US, he’ll go to the GPs for the challenge. Just look at his career, hits adversity, gets beat, learns, comes back and wins. He’s one of the best ever, and that’s how he wants to be known.
Winning a MXGP title would really cement that
Anything can happen, jett might get bored of riding after 5 years.
People's desires change all the time.
If he dominates SX and outdoors to the point he gets bored as you say, why would MXGP be a challenge? Would he not also likely dominate there too?
With SX and the Nationals held on Saturday's, maybe Jett could race those and then take an overnight flight to the GP's on Sunday's, and win the fucking lot.
He would have to be able to perform in a greater variety of track conditions.
In theory yes he would have a great chance of doing it, and if he did he would achieve something no one else can currently do.
Thats something money can’t buy.
Ferrandis said as much when he asked the same question. He would just as soon retire as go back to MXGP. Or he would just as soon race a privateer bike here.
Australian National kangaroo champ.
Good point, I don’t think i hear Jett say how much he loves riding his dirt bike every time he gets interviewed. For now it’s just a job and then he may find something else once he gets lots of money: He’s the go with the flow type or his dad may have other plans for him. Hard to be a racing family all the time.
What about other challenging 2-wheel dirt bike races to prove he is the best…why does it have to be GP? People like Ryan Sipes got into all kinds of stuff like the Erzberg Rodeo which is considered one of the hardest races. GP does travel the globe as a best in the world theory but there’s lots of other ways to race a bike like flat-track advertised in On Any Sunday. If Jett is a racer he would find other ideas too like trucks or cars like most top retired riders did but I don’t see him doing that. Maybe radio controlled toy trucks at the golf course.
Not necessarily, I think about Ryan Villopoto who was one of the best ever American SX and MX riders and he didn't go to the MXGP's and Dominate, those guys are good and outdoors is their specialty. Don't get me wrong, I think Jett could go over there and win, it's just that I think there would be some time for getting use to racing that series. I just find it interesting to think of what might be in the future with Jett if he decides on a new challenge, it would also give everyone here a chance to not get bored seeing the same person always winning and someone else win a 450 title here in America.
Yup GP is outdoors. This whole new title SuperMotocross means you have to win SX and MX to be champ with more versatile conditions and styles of racing like with jumps and whoops most haven’t raced. After winning a perfect season of outdoors in America it’s not such of a motivation to go win outdoors somewhere else. Let them challenge him? Or go race outdoors and be the outside guy. The money and fame is in Supercross.
Ferrandis was getting his ass handed to him when he was in Europe.
