What’s the point difference between 8th and 7th? 1 or 2 points?  Punting a guy for that little is kinda lame. I think most people look at shock since the outdoor season he was killing it as the peoples champ. This sucks.

when he wins the championship by  1-2 points, youll understand.

The pass on Shock looked like an average 'aggressive'  SX pass.  Nothing more.

Swoll’s hit on Hymas looked like more of a t-bone, and much more of an intentional take out attempt. Why is so much attention on the Deegan incident and relatively nothing on the Swoll/Hymas incident?  It’s obviously not about what actually happened, but more an opportunity for the actively anti-Deegan crowd to gnash their teeth and clutch their pearls.

They’re just downvoting because there’s too much to defend. Im not even sure what looks the worst for him from yesterday. But its definitely one of the two reactions he had to the first turn crash and last turn crash.

Its a toss up between causing a crash with Hammaker, throwing a tantrum point and going off, then pushing his bike over, then trying to start shit in the pits afterwards.

Or making an aggressive last turn pass to finish 7th, injuring the rider and then laughing about it afterwards.

The track cutting to gain an advantage is so minor in comparison to these incidents. Although i think those 2 combined show not only how much of a brat he is, but that he is a hypocrite too. He causes the first turn crash, throws a tantrum blaming someone else. Then he intentionally punts a dude on the track, injures him and laughs about it. He thinks no one has the right to contact him (even when its his own fault), but he can do whatever the fuck he wants to others? Atleast be consistent. If he wants to ride dirty, he should expect others to ride him dirty.

Just Confirmed they are. They think we're just haters.

That same pass to get into the main, or to get on the podium is justified.......but to gain one point in the main is pretty greasy. All he did was gain an enemy.

Was there an interview with him on the broadcast? I saw the Seth one (classy) but didn’t see anything with Deegan. Being the instigator, I thought he would have a lot to say.

Because it was payback for what Hymas did to Swoll, something that is likely going to happen to Deegan at a later race from one of the many riders he’s pissed off.

Swoll was defending himself. Deegan blasted Coty for seventh then laughed about it. Not hard to tell the difference.

Retaliation is not defending yourself. You’re letting your dislike of Deegan cloud your judgement……

Deegan did some stupid shit last night, but the pass on Schock was not something that he should be getting much grief over. It sucked from the standpoint that Schock seems to be a good kid and he has a feel good story, but you’ve just proven that if you remove the name Deegan from the incident, then it isn’t worth the bed wetting that so many are doing over it.

Can you draw that out on a piece of paper for us.

I think Deegan’s behavior was pretty bad / inexcusable, but that was about the lightest bump you could do in that situation.  Coty just fell awkwardly.  I can’t blame Deegan for going for that.  Coty should have hugged tighter inside down the straight, people did that all night in that situation to make people go around the outside of them, and the outside line never won out.

The pass on Schock was aggressive, but not dirty. The outcome sucks for Coty but it's hard racing.

But let's look at the rest of the 38's night: Poor qualifying, outside gate in the heat, makes a relatively high risk sweep to the inside and tangles with Hammaker. Hissy fit one is pushing Hammaker's bike to the ground, and shoving the track worker. Then he doubles down by going to the PC pits (where Hammaker's mom owns him). Then in the main, as others have pointed out he clearly goes off track by his own choice and gains positions. Then does the Schock move, which in isolation is not so bad.  Then according to people on site, Brian is losing it on the officials for docking Haiden for the positions gained. It's all just classless.

Everyone loved Travis Pastrana over Brian because he was always classy, more than anything else. Brian had a chance with Haiden to turn the ship around, but instead they are going for the bad boy image with the kid as well.  Haiden will suffer the same fate as Brian, he will always be looked as a punk compared to whoever ends up being his career-defining rival. But the clicks are more important to that family, and it is quite sad.

you'll want to steer clear of the comments on his IG in that case.

They are not parallel.  The lines you are referring to are equidistant from one another at any given latitude point, but they would only be parallel if the distance between the longitudinal lines was exactly the same at every single latitude, which is obviously not the case.

The very definition of parallel is:

“Two or more lines that are always the same distance apart and never intersect, even if they are extended infinitely in both directions.”

Lines can be straight and parallel, then curve and intersect, they are still lines!

We live in a 4 dimensional world, 3 physical dimensions and time dimension.

If 2 lines are parallel in the 3 physical dimensions, because the universe is expanding, if you go backwards in time far enough, the lines would have occupied the same space and intersect!

If Shock is racing with a cracked collarbone, then he's taking the risk.  Same as McAdoo racing with a cracked tibia.

It's going to take less to break either one of these bones.

That last turn pass was pretty mild, and at slow speed.  I can't blame Deegan for breaking Shock's cracked collarbone.  Coty took the risk, and unfortunately, it didn't work out.

Seth was busy sitting in the PC rig looking at footage and figuring out how to still get a podium while Deegan was still worried about a start incident in a heat race.

Deegan was the favourite (at least in his, and probably the team's, mind) to pick up the title, but things haven't gone his way so far.

He's a teen, a bit spoiled, a bit impetuous, and a lot lacking patience, and probably starting to panic over his (in his mind) underperformance so far.

He's been on the back foot since the first race and is continually trying to get back those missing points as quick as possible- unlike last year where his performance was built on consistency- and every time that something goes wrong, the panic will build.

Needs to relax, realise that he's not Jett, and that there's a lot of seasons between now and retirement.
