As a GenXer, I have a lot of respect for Boomers and the Greatest Generation.
At least we were still taught to respect our elders. All of us go through that "I know everything" stage...it's later in life you realize you didn't know shit, least of all what is truly important.

Idk this is obviously going to be an unpopular opinion in this thread but I get where the op is coming from. Mike raced the 25+ and 30+ and got second in +30. Some say what else is he suppose to race. Well he didn’t sign up for open A which I’m sure he could have gotten top 5 in. I understand he’s well within his rights and rules to race the 25 and 30 class but if he’s just looking for somewhere to race his bike why wouldn’t he sign up for the open a class as well. I’m not against him racing the classes he did but for the people saying “what’s he suppose to race?” Idk how about the most competitive class he can since he chooses to not race pro anymore which you can’t even really say that since he raced WSX a few months ago. I’m 37 and race 25A and 30a. My district also has a 35 class that anyone can race but none of the A guys race it because generally speaking we all feel like why race a class you know your gonna smoke everyone in. To me that’s a little how I feel about this. Again not illegal or wrong but if your gonna race why not race with the best competition you can have.
Wisdom? I still race dirt bikes into my 60s! My wife says that's not smart!

I was very happy to see Dakota Kessler get the W in our +30 class.. You can watch on racer tv n see me as a lapper in front of Alessi.. 🤣 You can even see me fist pump Kessler once I saw him and Chatfield were ahead of Alessi as they lapped me. Kessler comes from the NE and can usually be found running heavy equipment 6-7 days a week. Hops in the trailer with his family and comes all the way to FL and puts it down! Super impressive. He defended his title in that class!
You know, all these people defending Alessi, really have no idea. Just a bunch of short hair swinging fans really. His post under the rcsx post about "family", fake as hell. I sat in staging with him last year and had to listen to him whine. Literally saying how it sucks were waiting and he just wants to go home n just talking down on the whole thing there at rcsx. I never really had a problem with Mike regardless of the stupid shit hes done and said, but he irked me at rcsx. His demeanor is always as if hes superior and were all just a bunch of dumbasses being there, almost as if it were an inconvenience to him. Theres alot of us, or damn near all of us there, that are there to have fun and enjoy the whole thing, and spent an ass load of time n money to get there. Hearing him whine was enough for me to know where his heads at, and it aint anywhere but the money or fame, or something.
The guy still races professional arenacross. He should race 450A if he wants any respect.
