i want to see a breakdown of those on vital who would love to see webb / tomac race backwards, ride a wide track, and make contact to try and hold position versus those who absolutely rag on Friese for doing the exact same thing

change the names and you're a bunch of hypocrits

You can't be serious. Jett is beating these guys like Pewee Herman pre-arrest movie theatre. Tomac dominated this years Daytona, minus Jett beating him by at least 2 seconds a lap. A thorough drumming.

No, he's talking about when he blows by Tomac and Sexton at the same time.

Jett is too fast. Like JMB. Jett will find a passing lane. Boom. Gone.

No, all are clean riders like most champions, the last dirty champion was Chad Reed in the big boy class.

Fight for position - yes.
Block pass - yes

At least Webb, he’s a pitbull

Take Jett out like Barcia to Malcolm? No.

I’m saying a definite no. You ride respectfully and you generally will get it back. Jett is not a dirty rider so I don’t see any of the other 3 doing anything to take him down.

This.

Neither Sexton or Tomac will start crap like this, they are way to classy as riders.

When it comes to Webb, we often see him doing it to Roczen that has the most fragile ego out there but it’s rare to see him doing it to a rider that he knows is better than him.

And yes, Webb knows that Jett is the better/faster rider of those two.

Starting getting agressive just shows that you are desperate that you don’t have the speed to win.

"Jett seems to have for the most part figured out his starts..."

I've wondered how much of that is due to their traction control setting since his starts in the mud have been much worse. I would think if he were controlling it manually there wouldn't be so much variation.

Exactly.

I'll tell you what I'd like to see, that nobody yet has mentioned.

A main where Kenny gets one of his runaway holeshots, Jett gets out of the first turn around 4-5th, passes Eli, Chase, Webb, etc... and spends half the race running him down.

And after that...

The real battle we've all been waiting for.

I actually wondered the same man.

I'm in between (vital and pasta interrupt) working on wet settings for an RPM vs GPS vehicle Speed (so no wheel speed sensors) traction control table at the moment, trying to find a happy place between wheelspin and not letting it eat... Not so easy 🤦

Things this season has confirmed that we already knew kind of. Eli is very fast, Chase was better on a Honda, team Austria has a serious issue with suspension, AC's arm/hand deal is not going away anytime soon, this is Jett's to lose, there is no next great young American rider despite the multi-million-dollar amateur racing system, and the whole Mookie is going to win one of these things any day narrative is just wishful thinking.

Don't think they will need to. Jett has had several close calls already this season. I think its only a matter of time before a soil sample that results in a 10th or worse. The points will close back up. He for sure looks like the top dog for the ship though.

Screenshot 20240225-212721 ChromeDon't remember his name but they say the kid on the #38 is gonna be pretty good. I also think there's a chef that's good.

8 races into Chase's switch is way too early to judge. Mookie and AC are low-hanging fruit, Cooper Webb says hello...

I agree, but you guys forget about Sexton when he moved up to 450. Not a single person including himself thought he would be so damn good.

You never know how guys will transition to a 450.

That mind-set worked well for RC.

Hell, look at Jett. I thought he would win some races and championships eventually. He came alive on that 450.

Well if they want to they better work fast cause the way Jett flew past the 1 & 3 on Saturday there wasn't even time to get out the elbow grease.

Only if it's a "must" situation.

They are all clean riding championship contenders who don’t race dirty and respect one another including Jett.

Tbh I think Jett will eventually take himself out. He is quite easily the fastest rider out there most of the time. But at the same time he pushes it very close to the edge. He has had entirely too many close calls already and lucked out.

He reminds me of JS7 with his career at times. Totally dominate in the small bike class winning everything easily. Quickly into his 450 career he has an undefeated MX season due to a depleted field. But still in MX or SX he is the fastest guy. Time will tell but hopefully self induced crashes don’t limit his titles as it did with JS7.

Fair and balanced post. The similarities with James are eerie. Small crashes so far but hopefully not some of the head-banging ones James took later on.

I remember when Chase moved up to the 450 for outdoors it was heavily debated. Pulp thought he would struggle to be top 10
