Now I know why they've eliminated the sidepanels - so they can show off that 6' long muffler. Grinning

I hope it works out. Judging by what the Euros have done in road racing, if history repeats itself, some of the Japanese are going to get shoved out. When I heard all the new makers coming in I wondered if these manufacturers look at the MX market as low hanging fruit, a great promotional tool, and a way to snag the younger market. Wouldn't a single cylinder MXer cost less to make than a Ducati Super Enduro or even a Ducati scrambler, serious question? And Ducati can sell the MX bike for 12K plus?

Just my guess.  MX is affordable compared street bikes and other things.  I’ve said it before, 30k for a SxS to play or hunt is a lot.  10-14k dirt bike is more affordable.  Due to rising cost/inflation, Companies are looking at the market horizon and trying to sell where they can sell.

30k for a SxS you can fit the whole family in is why that segment has taken off.  15k for a bike only one person can ride isn’t as economical.

I almost pulled the trigger and traded in my RRS, but I can't justify losing too much money on it. Beta is doing a dealer incentive on the 24's so that killed it. I'll just have to wait till the 25's come out. I will say it is seriously a thing of beauty in person.

Plus I've just about got mine perfect for me.

Saw one at Barona today in person. Looked very, very trick and well put together. Looking forward to the reviews!

Just need’s a couple of washers under the front fender mounts - to tilt the front fender down a bit.

I genuinely find them hideous. I bet the work fine, but I can't get past the color scheme. Sick

I guess aftermarket plastic and graphics don't exist in your world.

The head pipe looks good, just going to want a slip on to clean that up a little.

Dirt bikes don't exist in my world, I don't have the money or time to ride anymore. It's just an observation, would love to, just not in the cards unfortunately.

I think the red plastic with black rims look better, but I just think Beta doesn’t want to look like a Honda.

Blue wheels over black all the way, not even close.

things that i notice from vids, and go pros:

while all other bikes are 2x4s the 2" being the width and the 4" being the height, the beta looks like its a 2x6

i have ridden bikes like this before and i dont prefer that feel....  it can be better but its gonna take some re-engineering steering tube on frame looks too high IMO. havent rode one but i have had bikes like that before, it may work for taller riders, but for the 5', 5'' guy it probably wont.

I don’t think they fucked up, I actually like the bike a lot, I like the looks, the components everything about it, I just said I don’t think I would like it being that it’s tall and skinny, triple clamp offset looks no good.

but at same time triple clamps look like they sit too high.

Don’t know where this pic originated but I dig the cleaner styling of this smoker. A2C7CD1A-FA51-4640-A504-4D25B5D24831.jpeg?VersionId=CesjOyscLwKkLuNknKdVPYCniA
