If you haven't been out to Cahuilla to ride the new vet layout I highly recommend it. Was out Sunday and other than it being a little crowded and definitely soft in spots it was a blast.
LACR for the new track Saturday!!
What bike is that? Guessing a Beta model. Looks awesome, regardless.
Same one you saw at Glen Helen. Beta 500RRS/RE hybrid.
Hi all, which vet track would be best suitable for a beginner-ish rider? I used to ride Milestone's beginner track all the time, so anything similar would be nice, I just want to stay out of everyone's way LOL.

Cahuilla, Pala, and LACR all have fun, safe vet tracks, haven't ridden Perris in the recent past so no opinion either way on that. Elsinore is ok in my opinion, but I'll take the other three over that place everyday.
Perris and Elsinore seem to have more Beginner-friendly layouts, but timing is everything: Would advise planning on riding from Noon-2P or whenever each closes if you hope to steer clear of the crowds your first few motos back.
Pala and Cahuilla are probably the most busy/intimidating for a true beginner/first-time track rider, just so you’re aware going in! Both clear out towards the end of the day, but in the AM they can be as busy as the 91 Freeway in rush hour…
Pala has been nuts as of late as far as crowds go. From 10 to 12 the vet has been packed. Funny how fast it clears out just after noon but by that time the track is tattered.
However, I plan to be there this Friday if anyone wants to join. Silver Chevy express always park mid way down the road between the vet and main. See you there!
I think Elsinore vet track is best beginner layout. Longer straights, fewer jumps, and way fewer people. It’s hard to stay out of people’s way at Pala. Pala has way more fast guys riding the vet track when they should be on the intermediate/pro track.
Just don’t go there after rain. Elsinore does not do well with water.
Pala needs to bring mid day vet track prep back!
Seriously, I wonder why they quit doing that. Although last time I rode there the vet track had a ton of traffic yet suprisingly the track stayed pretty good all day and I didn't feel that needed more prep
How about GH do they hv a lot of practice & race days from March 15 to 30th . 29,30th is the 2 stroke race . There site keeps crashing on me . Is there a race or 2 mid March to the 29th.
Lacr tomorrow, anyone else? Silver gmc on a ktm. Going to check out the track changes. Will be on the vet most of the day.
I know it isn't the closest track to most, but I'll be at Honolulu tomorrow
Practice and racing at DT1 this weekend.
Just picked up a bike and looking to get back into it. Any tracks open on Monday or Tuesday? Those are the best days for me.
Appreciate any info, thanks.
Pala (Fox Raceway) normal schedule is Friday, Sat, Sun, Mon and Tuesday. Closed Wednesday and Thursday. Gates open 8 ish and tracks are open for riding at 9.
10-4, thanks
cause it was a waste of time that cut into ride time. Good riddance.
Pit Row
Glen Helen is open Tuesdays
LACR was good today, tracks got really rough and square edge. Took me awhile to get used to the new layout on the main but later in the day I got comfortable and was having a ton of fun. The changes they made to both tracks are for the better in my opinion. It was weird having to actually use my brakes there for once haha. It's cool to see a track listen to the public and make changes accordingly instead of sticking to what they know. People wanted the tracks slowed down with more technical sections and they did exactly that. Kudos to LACR...
I was going to ask how it was out there today. Saw an overhead pic on insta and it looked like the changes were for the better. Can't make it out till next Saturday as I am waiting on a couple parts to show up.
It was good. Mid day I was getting kind of frustrated because I wasn't gelling with the track, but by my last session I was having a ton of fun. A couple spots are tight and one-lined but I think with some tweaking it can be really good. They added a new peaky table top that was a blast. All of the big jumps however are unchanged. Sucks you had to sit this weekend out. I'll most likely be back next Saturday.
Anyone riding tomorrow? Perris says they are going to open. Haven't heard anything on Fox. Elsinore has swapmoto
NGPC at GH!
Any tracks open this weekend or did everything get rained out? I'd really like to ride Sunday. I haven't seen any updates on the socials
Perris and Lake Elsinore are closed tomorrow. I know Cahuilla is open, I thought about going but I just don't want to drive that far since I know it will be packed. I'll be at LACR bright and early, and if it's crowded at least it's close.
Is LACR open? No update on their ig feed
I’m hitting cahuilla tomorrow
Rode Pala today. It was fantastic!
