Barcia started it... you make a rod for your own back... plus Pourcel doesn't need another bad injury form someone trying to take him out every corner when he is still having issues from a bad crash 3 years ago. I have never seen Pourcel ride like that before and I have have seen him race from 05.... it was payback, Barcia hit him first in the corner and Pourcel was just sick of him.

Stroupe had similar feelings about Barcia last year, and I bet wilson isn't to happy with him either..and davalos.

but as fan the block passes make it exciting and it was a great race...but BArica is taking it a little too far someone is going to clean him out properly I fear and he might not get back up...

Pourcel was world champ at Barcia's age he knows you don't need to ride like that to win.

So sandbaggers come in all nationalities. Smile

nice to see a "real" race. they all rode well and Barcia riding hard like he does makes for great racing.

thats funny and true

Those guys raced hard and I am afraid that type of racing is what the rest of the series will bring. Hell, it was pretty mild, IMO.

I figured that type of track is where CP would shine. In the end, I guess he really did.

Awesome racing! Barcia and Stroupe impressed and surprised me. I think Barcia will be more consistently "there" than Stroupe though. If they continue to try to play rough with CP... I think he can put those boys down hard.

Gotta give it up for him sticking up for his teammate. Even though I wanted Barcia to win it.

I'm not a CP fan but I do think he is a great rider and after watching last nights race I think you will see a little change in CP. He is going to have to step it up to stay ahead of these guy's. The big difference between him and the other guys (more so Barcia) is that they are out of control and riding over there heads and CP looked like he was on cruise control. I dont know what it looked like on TV but thats what it looked like live.

Its funny, what is this, CP's second full SX season off the back of a paralysing injury and he gets called a sand bagger?

I like CP's humour, think hes a breath of fresh air.

huh? er no but neither did RV,Bubba or RC move up when they won the nationals the first year?

and you didn't understand the difference between supercross 250f titles and outdoor titles..

Pourcel would already be on 450 if he hadn't got hurt anyway...

I love how the Euros always find a reason to defend a Euro rider and bag on American riders. Mccread is of course the king of that sport.

huh? I like Dungey and Canard as much as Pourcel, RC is one of my all time favourites...

Pourcel is a totally different nationality to me....

Barcia is riding dangerous listen to what Pourcel says about him on pulpmx.com, Stroupe, Davalos and Wilson all have the same problem.

Barcia has all the dedication and desire he just needs to calm down. If he is fast enough he won't need to try and take people out.

That's what it looked like on TV too. Still impressed with Barcia's raw speed though.

Pourcel is right, he is number 1 and Barcia is just a little kid trying to fight everyone. Barcia needs to calm down and race like a pro or he is going to injure himself or someone else.

what goes around, comes around...now he has at least 3 guys that wont hesitate to take him out if the opportunity presents itself...

I want to see Barcia park him. I was hoping he'd find the speed to catch the crafty Frenchman again. That was some amazing racing no matter how you slice it and having feuds makes it fun. Great to see Deano up there dicing too. It has been a great year for Supercross!

I will say I have never seen CP ride dirty (unprovoked)look at the first pass Stroupe put on him (Pretty agressive) and then CP comes back and basicall did a trail ride move around stroupe made him look stupid- Stroupe was riding well but Barcia was on a terror- He looked like the beast from the east battling JMB I checked the calender three times to make sure it was 2010-

All I can say is Wow I loved every minute of it-

I didn't care for CP saying he wasn't on a bike all week or whatever though sounded like he was reaching for an excuse- thought the boy comment was hilarious

I can't see why anyone thinks Barcia did anything wrong. He never put anyone on the ground. He'll be the champ next year.

I loved every bit of last nights race, let's just hope the AMA doesn't start handing out penalties for close aggressive racing.

he didn't say they have to move over, he said "Barcia is riding dirty, he tried with me, he did it on my teammate and other riders, I don't like riding like that but I can do it too if needed".

Barcia did not hit him first. Watch it again. Barcia pulled a tighter line into the left 180 and came inside of Pourcel. He rubbed Pourcel with his rear wheel as he came around. Pourcel could have just as easily altered his line to compensate. Pourcel then ran it in on Barcia. Either way I don't see anything wrong with how they were racing last night. Rubbins racin. it's not like they were knocking each other down like Chicken and Bradshaw used to do to each other. That was a great race.

Bingo!

Do some of you other folks really fall for the Drama these guys create?

We all get worked up, sometimes, on the track...hell...go back and listen to Christophe's interview...I think he's even refering to Davalos (And his "conflict" with Barcia...might help for some of these Hot-Heads to actaully READ the lil' Book that comes with their LICENSE!).

Barcia was rippin' and that's just racin'.

I think some of you didn't watch the race...you seem to have missed Barcia's nice job of NOT runnin' over Austin (When he fell while leading) & how Barcia GOING AROUND AUSTIN is what gave the lead BACK to Christophe.

Until that happened...Christophe was gettin' beat & probably for a good reason: I felt Christophe was doin' jus' fine for a guy that had an ugly/hard practice crash just days earlier.

No worries, tough...let's see where this season takes us. Besides, I think we have a lot more speed comin' from Barcia, Wilson, Sipes, Baggett...and others.

I'm just glad to see all the "Lead Changes".

That's jus' GOOD RACIN'!

C'you at Daytona!

(1st rounds on me...you can find me and a few others in here at the bar by the NASCAR garages during the 200...)

Why do McRead's responses always seem tainted by his euro bias?
