Seeing that we have a break in the action for a week, would it be wise to basically shut Kenny’s program down for 7-10 days and let him go into full recovery mode. Kenny’s speed is based off of health and feel on the bike. He isn't going to lose the feeling after taking a week off. Look at what he did in the two motocross races last year with minimal riding but 100 percent health. If I'm in his camp I would want him to layoff for a better chance at a late season push especially coming off of a win.

I would have been with you last year.. but he did all of SX and was even stronger at the end of the season, then did WSX, a random national, SMX, MXDN and Paris..

so it seems like he has either gotten healthier or learned how hard he can push himself.

I heard he is on a carnivore diet now, maybe that has helped? Whatever he is doing, it’s working!

He knows his body at this point too, bet he'll have some time off in there.

Not really the carnivore diet. He said he eats a ton of fruit and honey so just getting sugar and carbs from other sources apparently.

At this point I think you just let Ken do what Ken wants to do.

My opinion which is just based off my gut is most of his health issues were mental.

"If you have been following Ken Roczen's road to recovery after his massive crash back at Anaheim 2 in January, you would have seen the results of the 11 surgeries he was gone through to get him arm back into a functioning shape"

"After his return, Roczen was diagnosed with the Epstein-Barr virus, which presents with symptoms of heavy fatigue, muscle weakness and loss of appetite"

Sorry fellas. I guess I should have elaborated. I’m talking the year where he would crack on the last few laps and Webb would get him.

I do agree he had some complications from his arms but I also think the mystery illness was mental.

I could be wrong, it’s just a gut feeling. Not a hill I’m willing to die on.

"Ken Roczen trained with his future brother-in-law Blake Savage after Baker's stint, but Savage has been in a wheelchair since his serious motocross accident in 2019. Since then, Roczen has taken the reins himself"

This bummed Kenny out not sure what his program is today

This sport any many sports have always had the mentality when injury occurs best to train and compete ASAP.

The extent of Ken's injuries his body had no chance to fully recover, that's why youd see him start the season decent well and inevitably fade into oblivion as the season progressed.

I'm glad he didn't quit, I be he's glad too, good to see a smile on his face, his carnivore diet seems to be working, definitely works for me.

I know if I was a guy of Kenny's stature with the history he has I would at least take it easy somewhat. He oozes talent and that isn't going to suddenly go away. He may not win this title but with the right style tracks he could win another one or two.

In terms of natural talent, Ken is one of the greatest we’ve ever seen. He’s always gonna be a threat to win on any day and any bike
