Personally I don’t think it had much to do with Hughes, I give the credit to Austin.

I disagree- I think its been a combo of technique and mental coaching from Ryno that has seemingly made a difference combined with the forced introspectiveness and maturity that comes from eating shit so much.

But did you notice Ryno was the first person Forkner thanked on the podium?

I just hope he’s wearing knee braces… and not falling for garbage from the worlds most commonly injured motocross trainer.

Crazy when all your accomplishments are discredited with one bone-head move, or two... maybe three...

His dad posted on here recently when someone brought this up that he has and still runs knee braces.

Which according to Ryno means he can’t turn down in corners, can’t feel comfortable and therefore can’t go fast….

Where was all this”most commonly injured motocross trainer” bullshit when Forkner was training with Reynard?

@pops huge congrats to your boy. Hope it’s the start of many more W’s.

I mean, Forkner has always been fast and capable of winning races. If he wins the title then maybe Ryno deserves some credit, but considering it's only the first round and he almost wrecked in the whoops, maybe we should put that on hold for now...

Anyone else get the impression that Austin rode similar to what we see Jett do in that he only rode at like 85% effort? He looked like he was comfortably cruising the entire main and heat.
