Well we had a dry track and finally a first glimpse of a showdown between these 2. Tomac got the early lead and sprinted away to about 5 seconds. Jett got into 2nd with 7 mins to go with a 4.2 sec gap to make up. Tried to push hard but couldn't catch Eli. Not even a small dent was taken from that gap. Then of course Jett crashed in the whoops on the last lap when he should've just packed it in. Tomac might be back and just got a load of confidence. Webb sneaking away with the consistent finishes to get the overall. This season is only gonna get better!

Daddy’s back
I can’t remember the last time I’ve been so happy to see a rider just immediately gap everyone first lap and ride away.
First time in Jett's 450 career that I've seen him with a good amount of time to make up a realistic gap on the rider in front of him & couldn't get it done - really speaks to the speed Eli was riding at. Eli also pulled out a 4 sec gap on Sexton in the matter of like 3 laps. Super impressive.
He had all the time he needed in the 2nd race too and still barely caught Plessinger. AP is riding good, don't get me wrong.

1 podium in 4 races for Jett? 3 months ago I would have bet my house it wouldn't have played out like this. I hope this season stays as wild as it has been so far! It was great to see Tomac back running a fast pace, Jason was a surprise as well!
The mud races were just what Eli needed. You gotta think every week that goes by he's getting more and more back in the groove. The mud races kept anyone from opening up a big points gap as he gets there
Haell Yeah.
They woke the beast in that last race. Going to be some epic battles this year.
Eli dropped the fastest lap in race 3. Jett would try to pull towards him and Eli just wouldn't stop running that pace. It was asked in outdoors about how Jett would do running a 100% pace for multiple laps, I guess we just found our answer. So stocked for Eli to be back up front and showing he can still smoke everyone.
(Eli superfan here) The way Tomac wheel tapped his way into the whoops and just maintained that 4 second gap with no issues made me VERY happy..
Eli still has the speed and fitness but needs start like he did last season. Can’t do anything from 12th in the first turn.
ET looked to be wheeling through the whoops!
he has past experience doing such
Awesome to see he still has that elite speed that even Jett can't match. This was perfect for his confidence heading into the break. He always gets stronger as the season goes on anyway so the rest of the field better watch out
Eli definitely needs those better starts.
His '22 title was that way. I remember he got his first good start and a win, then went on a win streak. I'm sure he will be hammering starts this week to freshen up again.
So huge for his confidence going forward
Things have settled down and we are back to normal now, and thank god for that.
Pit Row
That first good start & win in 2022 was also at A2. He then went on to win 6 of the next 8 rounds before injuring his knee and chilling for the last few rounds.
ET3 seemed "on" this week, like something clicked for him since his injury. Hope it continues, whatever it was
That wheel tap was so sexy. beast mode is back and im so ready for the next races. Tired of little donut boy winning all the time(that’s not the same for this year) and i’m glad that he’s not getting the easy pass and they are kind of roughing him up and i’ve waited since outdoors for this.
Eli is just a bad mfer. Going to be a sad day when he retires.
When he got the injury, I cried for over 10 minutes in my room after turning the tv off. When he retires idk what I will do but the sport will never be the same. I hope he stays for one or two years.
He looked happy after the race 3. All of us Tomac fans just want to see him hammer down all season.
ET3, is back and the fastest man on a dirtbike.
The best part about this thread is the crybaby down voter p--sies!
Eli looked good in the 3rd race. Looked like nerves, bike setup, and just rust were getting to him the first couple rounds. Well, now the guy has the bike dialed back in, and knows he can win. Danger Will Robinson, danger
A1 - Jett gets the hole-shot, Jett wins
San Fran - Chase gets the hole-shot, Chase wins.
San Diego - Kenny gets the hole-shot, leads, falls down and AP wins
A2
R1 - Chase gets the hole-shot, Chase wins.
R2 - Webb got the hole-shot, passed by Anderson, Anderson wins.
R3 - Eli gets the hole-shot, Eli wins.
Seems to be a pattern in '24 450SX.... Hole-shot = Neck burn
(i think i got that right)
