Jett will be lucky to get to 51 (which is the best anyone on the planet has done exclusively on modern 4 stroke machines).
If half the present field retires next year - which seems possible - then the competitive vacuum Jett needs to back into such a record will exist. That is the only way Jett could do it. And these first 4 races proved it.
You two need to get a room.
Which 11 riders are you thinking will retire? I can see Tomac and Wilson but idk ab anyone else...
I was expecting Jett was going to relatively dominate this season sx- his struggles have made things a whole lot more interesting.
I expect he will get back on track eventually…but maybe too late.

Maybe Jett need frosted tips instead of frosted donuts?
He about got booed out of the stadium during opening ceremonies last night. At this point, the whole thing is a bit reminiscent of “Believe the hype.”
I'm still waiting for these P1 and P2 finishes by Jett and Huntah all year long...
Cooper Webb. 50 to go!
He won the 1st race idiot, talk about being exposed, showing his weaknesses, man you people are like a bunch of 12 year olds.
So, Still 71 to go?
Oh man, another one of the kool kids
I missed the boo's but noticed when he crashed half the stadium came to their feet and were cheering. I wonder if these guys end up going out like the BeeGees. The elephant in the room is the fact his competition knows he can be worked now. He has to feel the crowd turned on him as well. Probably never experienced that before.
Why do people keep saying 71? Jett needs 72 more wins to beat McGrath's record, and that's with McGrath having less races per season
Great point
I noticed that too. It wasn't the normal "ooohhhhh"when someone crashes, it was actual cheering. At that moment I knew something happened to Jett.
Yupp. When the crowd started cheering I immediately knew Jett went down. Crazy how people turned so fast
The kid is incredibly talented, and he’ll win a bunch as long as he stays healthy. But I don’t think McGrath has anything to worry about.
Pit Row
If his 450sx career last 10 years, he will have to win 7.2 races a year to reach 72. That will not be easy.
Thank you! This has been grinding my gears. Kept thinking the guy said a goal is to beat the record, not tie it!
yal really boutta turn this to damn a Jordan vs lebron debate with these 2 🤦🏾♂️ forreal forreal neither MC or Jett is betta than RC so wht does it really matter 🤷🏾♂️ RC the king overall , not even the king he the 🐐
