Pourcel wants to win every title there is, i wouldn't be surprised IF he wins 250SX 250Mx,
rides a couple of years and wins both 450 titles, so he can head back to win MX1 GP.

i want to see stroupe win, felt like he was robbed of it last year with that problem in atl, much like pourcel's fate in the outdoors. its a part of racing though. I also am curious to see where les smith is. he ran well at the end of outdoors in the 450 class and i know hes been training. hes a local so i'll pull for him for sure, him and his family are good people. its going to be a good series, i think this year's east is the premier coast. too bad weimer wasnt on the east..

Do you see Dungey winning titles? then Pourcel can do it as well! Everybody as always said CP was very good on a 450F.

As for MX1 CP is not at all a fan of the GP. He is alwasy bashing the tracks, the promotor so things would have to go very wrong in the US for him to come back to race in Europe.

If Pourcel was fully fit he could definitely win the 450 in the US, I think he is more suited to 450s just like dungey or Nagl

Interesting to me that CP said hed be interested in riding a 450 at the end of the nationals.. meaning he believes hell have the championship clinched early enough to ride the 450 at the last round or 2.

Dunno about that..it is just an opinion after-all. He does seem a bit on the fragile side and there is plenty of equal or better talent than he. Time of course, will tell the story.

Guess peoples opinions may change depending on how the 1st few rounds go too. I don't see any one beating him, but who knows how the young guys will do, how healthy he stays, if weird things happen, etc. etc.

i think CP is in a tough position, everybody says its his title to lose, and that sometimes ends up happening
so this is going to be another championship decided on the days that they cant win, as the big bikes are showing, consistency and smartness is what they will need to take it

Few quotes from Pourcel on upcoming season on the 11th:

My collarbone is fine now just have a bit of pain in the arm. I've started riding again.
Anyway I wanted to do East again so everything worked out somehow.

Testing is done and the settings on the shocks are way better than last year thanks to Bones.

I crashed as I hit a neutral between 2nd and 3rd gear but I'll be ready for the East coast
I do my training on my own in Florida riding on my tracks and at Matt Boni. PC has sent me a 250f, two 450f and two spare engines so I'm all set.

I still have issues with my stomach the doctors are saying that only time can heal this. There is something wrong with the nerves that control my digestive system.

on 450F:
Whatever I would have done would have been crtiticized by some. I didn't make the move not because of finance or the economy. I just think that racing full time 450F all season right now might have too much for me with my health issue. It's only my second year. I've just bought a new house, build some tracks and start to settle down in the US. This will allow me to be really prepared for next year. Plus I want to finish the business I started last year!!

I don't plan on racing 450F however if I could do it in the end of the nationals I'd be interested.

CP says he's READY!!!!

Oh man thats some good shiat- I always thaought no 450 because of $ Glad to hear the truth- I also think it is smart to Debut a bike outdoors first- I never understood the move up happening at Supercross I am sure these guys can ride a 450 but racing in a new class why not start outdoors where it's ok to get a little sloppy and learn- I mean Supercross requires surgeon like precision on soo many jumps Never got why you would learn the new big bike there- I have a feeling this guy will be a force and I am sure Iam not alone!

Is there such a thing as healthy Moss? I thought those dudes were still banged up?

Izzi, I havent heard a peep about that dude since he made a video for someone(I think it was Vital) about 3 months ago or so. He impressed me with his maturity in the vid, I expect him to win races.

Austin Stroupe - win or wad
Nico Izzi - super consistant, will get his first win!
Justin Barcia - steady top 5, will snag a win or two.
Dean Wilson - DARK HORSE
Christophe Pourcel - defending champ, gets hurt and ends his season early (2010 has been that type of year so far)
Blake Baggett - comes from behind
Kyle Regal - comes from behind

Final Points Guess:
1) Nico Izzi = consistant, podiums alot. gets a win.
2) Justin Barcia = wins a few, but has some bad races.
3) Brett Metcalfe = consistant, gets a few 2nds but no wins.
4) Austin Stroupe = wins alot, but crashes alot too.
5) Dean Wilson = takes a few rounds to get warmed up. ends off the series with a bang! east west shootout winner.

Mrtf, I can't believe that I am sort of agreeing with Doobie Davis, I don't see Davalos or Sipes in the top 5.

I do however see Mr Jake Moss & Mr Brett Metcalfe showing Messrs Stroupe, Izzi & Barcia ( Who the fuck is Barcia anyway) how to ride!

I am really pulling for Metty to get a couple of wins he deserves it. Works hard, never hear him complaining, has come so close or been curtained by injuries.. I would love the guy to pull off a title in SX.

did anyone forgot about Futrell??? the kid had the most impressive debut in the pro ranks this year and been training hard. not saying he will win the championship, but podiums should be insight. les smith is also entered for INDY, and from what im told, its aboard a JGR tuned yamaha 250f. we all know stroupe has the speed to win, but can he stay consistant?
