In AZ, my favorite would be Canyon Raceway. Long, fast layout, both natural terrain & man-made hits, & they don't allow quads. Elsewhere, I'll go with Competitive Edge in SoCal. I love sandy tracks, & that place is just the right combination of elevation changes, jumps, & whooped out sand sections. I like Perris, too, but haven't been there in awhile. When I lived in Vegas, they built a new track right next to the LVMS that was sweet as hell, but I hear it is closed now, which is a damn shame, 'cuz Vegas didn't have too much riding to begin with...//TJ

When I lived in Washington State it was Washougal when its not raining. Now I live in SOCAL and love having the nice weather and multitude of tracks to choose from. I like something about all the tracks I've ridden down here so far (Glen Helen, I5 MX, Racetown 395, Cahuilla Creek, Piru, Lake Elsinore and Perris).

Miles Mountain MX (PA) - incredible dirt, fast wide open mx, big but forgiving jumps

Budds Creek - I only rode there once but the track is alot of fun and challenging (ie off-camber turns).

Broome-Tioga - I'm not a big fan of the whole national track but for some reason I always do good when I race there. That makes me like it.

Fun to ride has to be Zolder, Millville and Red Bud. Zolder because of its unrelenting sand but also manages to have great jumps that hold up fairly well in for sand and of course the Old F-1 venue is chock full of memories. I rode millville since its very first race and the sand wash is still the same after all these years but now we ride the hills, uphill doubles are just a blast no matter where they are and i love to blast downhills right past guys that worry more about going down hill than up! Red Bud is so much improved with all the new sand and its the first National i rode plus i saw Doug Domokos wheelie the whole thing, oh and saw Bengt Aburg holeshot a moto at a trans am there on a BSA in the early 70's

This was my favorite track when I lived in Finland. Awesome people, the track was always in good condition. And a nice website too! (designed by myself actually... Smile )

Other tracks I've been to that I like has to be Arbis in France (never rode it though)! Just a spectator in 1991 at the 250 GP, or was it 1990?. I'm sure DV knows that track...

That track looks sick! I love sand tracks. My all time favorite is Motomasters in Mexico, NY although it has become a little run down over the years and is nothing like it was in the late 70's and 80's. After that I'd have to say Frozen Ocean in Auburn, NY, Fields Hill and Raceway Park in Englishtown, NJ.

Unfortunately,

(1) I can't rider tracks anymore

(2) The two at the top ~ Sears and Plymouth ~ don't exist anymore. The original GP track at Hollister was pretty cool at the right time of year, don't know if it still is.

Lake Whitney and Cooperland. Both for their amazing dirt, great elevation changes and unique/creative/fun ways they always changed up their woods sections.

Oak Hill and I 35 are close just because I love the sand.

RIO BRAVO in the 70's and 80's. Deep loam and awesome natural terrain layout.

Just reading the original responses makes you think. At that time (2006) if anyone here would have said that 1 Lake Elsinore, one of the most popular tracks the past decade, would slowly deteriorate into oblivion, they wouldn't buy it. 2 That Perris, the oldest track in CA would close down and then soon reopen, they wouldn't buy it. 3 That a track called Milestone would soon be opened and become probably the most popular track in the state, they wouldn't buy it. And finally, if you said a new track, Pala, would be created, and take over Glen Helen's spot as a national, they wouldn't believe that. Kinda crazy all that happened

I just realized that I posted twice in this thread. Well thrice if you count this one. At least I am consistent, My favorite track is same from 5 years ago.

Funny how this has such a small turnout in regards to posts. I guess there aren't too many people that actually ride in here.

Racetown 395. It has big safe floater tabletops and long sweepers. Corners with ruts, a huge uphill triple. Just has everything youd want haha.

I don't ride but I get a lot of feed back from people regarding my brothers track, The Ranch in Anza. Marc has built a replica track of Carlsbad Raceway that my father, Stu built in the 60's and now my brother is working on the Saddleback Park replica track next. Marc is also building new tracks for Lake Elsinore Xtreme Motorsports Park as I type Smile
