I almost forgot, I have a signed number plate from Dave Bickers on my restored 1961 Greeves. I also have plaque from one of his old trophies from 1959. Go look him up. He was famous.

I just found out I'll be in town for some desert sunshine(?) and the Waste Management Open golf thing. I'll be with non-moto people but I'm exploring options of catching some moto activity. It's been about 20 years but the AZ MotoDrive faithful hooked me up for a ride day when my wife and I were in town. As I recall, I rode TJ's CRF250 and 500guy's YZ426(?). I know there were a few more people involved but my old concussed brain is having trouble with the details. Hopefully I'll run into you yahoos this weekend!

Checking back in here. Flew out of LA Sunday night, back on deck in Perth Tuesday 11am local time. Approx 40 hours of travel total. WHAT. AN. EXPERIENCE!!! I second this. Get the brisket appetizers that are like egg rolls filled with brisket with the chipotle sauce. Best ever

If Moto is your religion, the Ride / Shoot day (on Friday) is something to not be missed! Y ou'd be around people that know moto, not just casual fans. These guys are the best. DrMark sets up a loft at the stadium, see the link below. It seats 125 true moto fans and usually sells out, but he some times has last minute tickets.
