Funny thing about stereotypes is that there's always quite a bit of truth to them from the literal repeated behavior that then forms the stereotype.
Ha!!
There is lots of good research, including historical explanations and sex differences, that explain this. For example, women were only allowed to be nurses for a long time. Women tend to excel in care taking positions, resulting from a mix of innate sex differences and sociological factors, the exact amount of each...is hard to know.
But I agree that we should get back on track trying to get to the bottom of what happened at MTF
Jeepers - I tuned in for the MAG - AJ soap opera and must have hit a wrong number as now I am in a men/women philosophical discussion.
Lets get this back to the MAG-AJ soap opera!!

I made a comment earlier regarding AJ actually reading this thread. Moto Academy was gung ho to have its own facility. Why was this not the right thing?
Has AJ ever posted here?
Will any journalist have the balls to ask the Bros any questions about Moto Academy?
I am sure they would if AJ was relevant.....but he is not so why would they do an interview to ask him about allegedly screwing over a stranger in a business deal for GPF?
Why would a journalist ask the Lawrence bros anything about this topic? According to this thread the Lawrence bros were only involved with AJ because they were paid very well by him to be involved with the academy. After the failed closing of the property, most everyone involved with Moto Academy is no longer, at least according to this thread, Lawrence brothers included
The Lawrence brothers were not the financiers of GPF and had absolutely nothing to do with the attempted purchase of this property. Perhaps over time details of this could emerge but I doubt it will ever come from AJ. I would imagine he just wants to move forward with this and attempt to put it behind him. I’ve watched his videos in the past like most other moto coaches online just to see what they have to say. Honestly AJ has always seemed to rub me the wrong way. He came off as the “if you dont do it the way I tell you, its wrong and you wont get better”. Seems like he thinks his way is the only way you should ride
Maybe after it’s settled legally the partner whose been posting on this thread will share some details but thats it. I really feel for him too, kind of a similar situation to the father who spent a million dollars trying to keep the RM KTM team going right before they folded
Understand your perspective there.
I was thinking about a different path and I wouldn’t ask anything about GPF specifically.
how about this…
Hunter and Jett, many people in the moto community have been impressed with your involvement with beginning and progressing riders through your work with the Moto Academy. It is generally understood that you have terminated that relationship. What specifically led to that and do you anticipate doing more of this type of work in the future potentially using a different means?
Honestly yeah it would be interesting to hear their perspective on that and I do like the way you worded the question. I always thought the relationship between them was interesting, as in why did they randomly partner up with him, but after learning about how well they were compensated for doing so, it appears thats why. I wander if they would avoid partnering up with other people in the future or even why they were told to cease and desist their partnership with him.
Bald AJ was way cooler than Turkish hair plug AJ. I don't think bald AJ pulls the same stunt.
They terminated because people are talking about a class action lawsuit against AJ. He had someone imitating Jett and himself. You could ask “coaches” questions but it was really them. I forget the exact legal term but it’s something like consumer fraud. This is pretty well known because he brags about it to everyone. I do not have any involvement in this lawsuit and it that may or may not happen. I’m also not the one who talked to his manager when this all went down. That was the other party involved. So I’m not really sure what was said to get him dumped.
Well what I can say about aj and moto academy is this. Talking to Aj was cool. Asking him questions before or after class was no problem. BUT. The entire class at least at the track I was at was shit. I think time got away from them and maybe they didn't show up early enough to plan the class out that day idk. We worked on 2 count it 2 corners for the day. Here's the entire day.
20 minutes warm up. Stop, talk about the classes, another 10 minutes with riding groups split between 2 tracks. Then bike on the stand drills and questions. Then 20 minutes standing moto drills back to the bike stand drills for corners. One group went an worked one corner while the others did another. A quick gas water break then groups switched spots. Then the one handed drill for 15 minutes followed by a open ride where they explained scrubing and that was it. One issue is there was way way to many fucking riders there to ever be a useful class even with 2 coaches. It was truly a waste of money. Now I'm not saying all of his classes are bad and I'm sure the track had something to do with it to but this class was again a waste of money.
Honestly its tough doing a large group lessons based on my experience with riding coaches. I usually work 1 on 1 with a coach local to my area, but one of the tracks nearby was having an open class with access to the national track for the first hour and a half before it was open to the public. Long story short it was cool having access to a perfectly watered and prepped track but its just too hard to coach 20 people at once even if you have 3 coaches in 3 different groups. Then when it came time to do section work people keep cutting ahead and not being courteous to the other riders who paid the same fee as you. It was definitely a cool experience and I wouldnt consider it a waste of $ (You got to ride the track with the rest of the public after the lesson was over) but you learn so much more doing a 2 or 3 hour 1 on 1 session with a coach. I think the max amount of students should be no more than 10 of you want some good coaching and pointers
I thumbed up by accident. But anyway I never took a riding class . But I think it would be fun. I,ve seen some videos of classes. Is there a lot of laughing at riders in the class ? Because some are really bad. Like Grandma has higher entry speed into corners. Then they hit the rut & everything go comedy.
Any updates?
Looks like his whole crew jump shipped. His main coach left, and it looks like now AJ is teaching off road schools.
Your an asshole dude. Let’s see a video of you riding. I’m sure you have time cause your POS trk and trlr are broken down.
My kid did one and it was exactly the same.
I did the class earlier this year. This is spot on to how my day was as well. It wasn't a bad class, but it wasn't a great class either.
I got pissed because they were running behind schedule, so they weren't wanting us to take breaks, but it was 103 and humid out that day so we almost had to beg for water breaks.
Pit Row
I always thought it was Kyro too.
Egypt, yes
Georgia, no
Anyone see any of the drama from the tomahawk pit bike race involving AJ? For a guy touting so much wealth, anyone else find it weird for him to sign up and race a money pit bike race to try to make a couple thousand? Seems weird to me. And the 20 minute long video he posted walking through his uncle’s barn sized shrine talking about how shredded he was made me cringe.
I haven't seen the pit bike race video, but I thought the barn video was alright. It showed a bit of his history. I didn't know that he was an Arenacross champ. Just him reminiscing.
Maybe he did the pit bike race for fun and channel content?
Yeah we were already at Tomahawk for the week for a class and a member ride day. The pit bike race was last minute decision to go have some fun as a team. We weren't there for a cash prize 🤦♂️
Any updates on the facility? Are you still opening up at GPF? If not, where will the facility be? Is the podcast studio at the Lawrence’s still happening?
No we're not opening up anything in Georgia. We're working on a few projects but learned our lesson with announcing anything early so you won't hear about it until its locked in 100%.
It should mostly be in the past few pages of this thread, I don't want to butcher anyone's telling of events trying to summarise. Truthfully it was just a lame attempt at a joke on my part.
Posts by BBusa5xx, who lost a bunch of money on the GPF debacle, are the meat of it. Yes he has some blame for not protecting himself/his investment. But we all know the business of motorsport works in mysterious ways.
To Becker's credit, even just shit talking GPF and talking about how much better you're going to run it, while GPF's current owners still own it and you have none of your own money in it or on the line as you've talked someone else into putting up their half, is pretty damn narcissistic I'd say? Very, very unscrupulous at best.
I agree 100 percent. Thank you sir.
Yeah, it’s fun to reminisce for sure.
it’s a whole ‘nother thing to plan to take a camera crew along and video tape yourself going on and on about yourself and your accomplishments for 20 minutes and then post said video online. Could a person be any more arrogant?
So the only thing Moto Academy has learned from this is don’t announce anything early? Thats the biggest and only takeaway anyone associated with Moto Acadamey has learned from this failed transaction?? Quite alarming if you ask me
