1998 7.3L Diesel Box Van
228,000 Miles
New Toyo Tires, empty box, has a couch pull out bed, 2 new batteries just installed.
Haven’t gotten to use this thing like I wanted to, and frankly I don’t have the time. I bought it from Tim Gomez, who got it from Steve Henegevld when they were apart of American Honda still. This box at one point in time was apart of the 80s Factory effort. It also was apart of Hondas Baja Legacy with Johnny Campbell, Bruce O, Steve Henge. Just a few racers.
Currently just sits in my front yard. Runs, needs to be started once a week to keep the diesel engine turning over. I don’t particularly want to sell, but I also don’t need 4 cars.
Asking $12,500.00, OBO.
Killer piece of old school moto! Different vibe pulling up in one of these compared to a new van.
if you use Instagram try sending it to @motocrossboxvans and @motovan_mafia. They post vans for sale and have a big following
I have a Facebook group called “moto vans only” 18k followers, post it there or I can for you. Guys a looking for box vans often. It’s priced right.
Your killing us, more photos for the old school box truck lovers.
GLWS and all that, but how could a van built in 1998 be part of the Honda factory effort in the 80's?

"The box"
Empty box.
That would be sharp painted red with a big white wing on it
Looks to be a shell of its former self if it was built for and used by Honda. On the other hand, it is a blank canvass! Love the 7.3 Power Strokes.
Just having fun @offroad949 - I am sure the 1998 vs. "Used by Factory Honda in 1980s" is a typo.
could you send some pics of the cab area and the engine compartment . to joestern111gmail.com
How can I get in touch with you about purchasing this vehicle?
is the van still for sale?
Yes sorry, I dont come on here often. 7149435226
Probably have pics of this van at Steel city, Mt.Morris ect.
Be a great find for someone who has rebuilt HRC Hondas of the era
I will call you later this week, thnx
The chassis is newer Ford. The box was nice old school Grumman box, you can tell by the round brake lights. The newer Grumman bodies had rectangular lights.
Most likely Honda had the box removed from older chassis and put on new (98) chassis.
So did you ever sell this boxvan?
