I think custom lids are still the coolest thing ever. I am happy that companies like Monster and Red Bull are in the sport but they killed creativity and individual identity with their full-RB or full-Monster paint jobs.

for as long as I can remember I have run the solid white lid...I always have big dreams of getting them done when I buy them, but never have the cash to get it done. As a result I ride around with that, I guess it makes me easier to spot out there.

Whew! I thought we were the only ones... hehe. I got a new Arai one year and decided that was a stupid superstition and wasn't going to scratch my brand new lid.... bad idea. Wink

Are you calling Hater and his son "posers" ? Guess again, Ryan could lap 99% of the members here.

Shenzi,
When are those helmets coming out and what will be the pricing on them? I'd love to get a white one and do some of my company's logos on there.

The MT-X should be available through Parts Unlimited within a month; they haven't ordered any white ones yet though, only the graphics ones. retails at $199 for the graphics and $169 for the solids.

We I will have some whites available in the next months too, that we will use for our "rider-support".

The AX-8 carbon/kevlar/fiber will be available towards the end of Spring. Retail will be around $380.

Justin Barnes, the old painter for the OCC guys (from American Chopper) does really good work. He has painted for Ferry and some other MX guys, as well as Jimmie Johnson and some of the Nascar dudes. Pricing is pretty good as well.
