My uncle was a college buddy of Chuck Robinson, in late ‘76 my uncle hooked my dad and I up with Chuck to get me a new BMX bike. We drove to DG in Anaheim and I got to walk the whole place with Chuck and pick out the parts for my new bike. We saw Glover and Hannah’s old race bikes, and a bunch of the BMX bikes while going from rack to rack grabbing parts and filling a shopping basket. Coolest thing I ever did with my dad. I still have that frame..

Hey all, you might have already heard or seen on social but there was an incident during the 450 LCQ this weekend in Arlington. A rider lost control, launched off the track, and struck SwapMoto Live's Chase Curtis, pinning his leg between the bike and the starting structure. It broke his tib and fib below some already existing hardware. The easy part was the media guys coming together to cover his work for the night, the hard part was watching our friend in so much pain. I'll give Chase props, great grip strength, I thought he was going to break...

Watanabe won a moto at a Trans AMA event back in 1976. IIRC he tied Roger for the overall win, but lost out on time. Same thig happened with Masuda at the USGP at Mid Ohio in 1977. Tied Rahier for the overall win, but took second on time.
